A Day of Firsts

img_0057I can’t wait for you to hear how the Lord loved on me today!  It was a day of firsts!  It started at the church.  The team announced that I was a Team Member In Process (MIP) for TTR.  What is so neat, is this was the same church I was called into ministry.  Everyone prayed over me and His sweet spirit comforted me!

Before we began worship, it was also publicized that we are no longer reviveTUPELO, but reviveMISSISSIPPI!  We had two individuals visiting with us from Horn Lake!  This is the first city in MS that has reached out wanting to start revive there!  I can’t wait to see how the Lord moves here in my very home state!

During TTR’s MIP training, they encouraged us to reflect on our spiritual journey.  It humbles me how He orchestrated my day and did just that!  Once my team left the church, I ran into Doug.  What is so special about this encounter is Doug’s mother used to take me to church with their family after I was saved.  Then, I ran into Patrick.  He is the person responsible for getting me involved in recovery.  This was the same time period I rededicated my life to Christ.  The next person I  saw Ms. Sue Mac.  She was my youth director.  She showed me the scriptures that I needed in order to lead my first person to Christ.  Lastly, my team had the privilege of running into Shane.  We were able to give him hope and get him into Broken Lives.  Our prayer is that he will stick it out and pass on what has been given him and that this day will mark the first day of the rest of his life too!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
