All About HIM!

img_1696As I was going about my crossing guard duties, I asked the Lord if there was something He wanted to tell me or show me this morning. You see, I have been struggling with raising my financial support to be a full time team member with TTR…and I thought it might be a good idea to get His input.  Well, He quickly shared that I needed to stop putting faith in what others can do, but in what HE WILL (not can) do for me!  He also reminded me that it’s not about what I can do in my limited ability …but what HE can do through me in HIS authority!  Then, as I began waving to all the passers by…He gave me His eyes for just a moment and whispered…do you see them? These are my children, be obedient and go love them as I do!

img_1730After my first crossing guard shift, I always take my two dogs for a walk.  This morning the Lord communicated through the crispy leaves and the 5 feathers that I needed to SHED the DEAD!  He got straight to the point…I need to shed self-reliance, fear, pride, anything not of Him!

“Shed the dead” led me straight to John 15:1-11…about the Lord being our vine…and if a branch doesn’t bear fruit – it’s pruned…and we can’t bear fruit if we are not abiding in Him…and our Father is glorified when we bear fruit…and His joy is made full when we are abiding in Him!

Then, if you continue readying John 15: 12-17 discussed how the Lord chose us to bear fruit..and whatever we ask of the Father in Jesus’s name may be given to us…and He commands us to love one another!  Do you think He is trying to get my attention?  WOW!  What an awesome time I had with my Abba Father this a.m.!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
