Tell Someone!

img_2837Oh what a since of humor our Heavenly Father has!  I was asked if I would play my oboe at the Mississippi Baptist Convention.  Without hesitation I said yes.  On the way to rehearsal, I had an opportunity to share what the Lord has been doing in Time To Revive with West Jackson’s worship leader who just so happened to be getting together with several folks who want to go out and share the Gospel!  They have met a few times to learn the Roman’s Road, compile their testimony and practice what they would actually say.  Well, I was invited to go with them the first time they hit the streets!  How fun that was!

When we were at the convention, they presented everyone a book entitled “Tell Me, Tell Someone!”  I almost laughed out loud, as they were encouraging the pastors to get their church congregations outside the four walls; what confirmation!  The Lord is definitely moving, let our prayer be that the churches will join Him!  I was also encouraged to hear that they were having the first prayer rally around our state capitol next week!  YES, YES, YES!  What if His people pray!!!

The trip was fun too because I got to reconnect with a courageous woman of faith and hear how another one of our sisters adopted two children from another country!  Wow, what testimonies to hear about the trials they each faced and how faithful God was to sustain them!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
