LWhat a fun morning! I had the privilege of going to the FCA’s meeting at Tipp City High School. One of the students got saved and the Lord highlighted another one of the students to me…time ran out before I was able to speak to her, but I began praying that the Lord would cross our paths again! We left the school and went to the mayor’s office. It was foggy. All I could think of was “on earth as it is in heaven.” I truly believe our Father was giving us just a taste!
Check out the video of our time with the teens!
That afternoon, Chris and I had an opportunity to hit
the streets. We went into town and stopped at a local shop. We spoke to the manager and she stated that most of the merchandise sold goes to help women in underprivileged countries. She was a Christian and we were able to pray for her and her business. That is Jen in the top right pic!
While we were browsing, I noticed someone that reminded me of a dear friend. I went up and spoke to her. She and her sister Donna allowed me to pray for them. I gave each sister a bracelet and Donna said it was the most beautiful thing that she had received in a long time. I explained the message on the bracelet made it even all the more beautiful and precious. I reviewed the scriptures with her and she prayed to accept Christ as her Savior! GLORY! I was able to snap a quick pic as they were leaving the store.
Chris and I decided to stroll around town and pray for the churches we walked by. When we walked up to one of them, the church bell struck 12! We joked, as the back door was open and we wondered if that was our sign to go inside. We kept walking and ended up at a restaurant, it was after all lunch time! The waitress kept looking at me and said I reminded her of a friend of hers. How funny! I was drawn to Donna’s sister, now she was drawn to me! My precious new friend is pictured in the bottom right. We prayed for her and her husband’s health. Wow, did the Lord take us on a fun adventure!
Once we got back to the church, I was able to catch up and fellowship with several of the staff and team members. Kara and I went on a quick errand and on the way back to the church, I saw…yes, geese!!!
That evening during discipleship training, I spoke to Nancy. She admitted she didn’t know if she was ready to be a disciple-maker, but she had the desire to do so. As she began talking, she explained she had ten days sobriety! I shared my testimony with her and she agreed to seek support from a local Celebrate Recovery ministry. She commented she was thankful the Lord brought us together because now she realizes she does not have to go through recovery alone!
