This afternoon was fun! The ringing in a new sound theme continued! Not only did my team see a large bell, but a gentleman at the church we went to was playing them!
I was able to go to the sheriff’s department and pray over several of the deputies. They appreciated the prayers and encouragement as they had just had their sheriff’s funeral earlier this week.
This evening, my team had the privilege of serving meals at the soup kitchen. I ate with and prayed for a couple and then reconnected with some of the folks I had met the night before! What a joy it was to be able to fellowship with them one more time!
One of the individuals on my team was concerned about how things unfolded. I could see this person’s chains and am thankful the Lord showed me through this person what I look like when things don’t go the way I expect them to. I still struggle some, but I am much better at listening to the Holy Spirit’s promptings and trying to roll with the flow than I used to be! I have also been learning that there is a reason the Lord has been slowing me down, so I just need to trust His timing and assignments!
