Remember the young lady that the Lord highlighted to me at the high school? Well, I got a chance to talk with her, several times throughout the week! She wanted to rededicate her life to Christ! I even got to sit with her during the last service! How faithful is God!?!
The Lord continued outdoing Himself! Here it was Saturday night at the church…and I was getting a little anxious to see my puppy dogs…when low and behold…right in the middle of the church hallway stood a therapy dog! It was neat because I told the dog’s owner how her dog was the answer to my prayer and she stated she was so encouraged! She admitted she never knows if what she does contributes anything! I loved that the Lord connected us and I was able to affirm her calling and ministry!
Well, the Lord still wasn’t finished…Ms. Mary Frances’s Yeti coffee mug got stolen at the church earlier in the week and I was able to give her one that had been given to me at the Sheriff’s Department. I told her I just knew that the Lord meant that mug for her. However, I still needed to be on the lookout for something to take home to my husband. Well, at the end of the service on Saturday evening, with everything said and done, the chef gave each of us one of his famous cookies to take home. Ms. Mary Frances and I knew it was the perfect gift for Neil! She gave me hers so Neil was doubly blessed!
My lesson in all of this is that I need to continue increasing my faith the Lord will give me everything I need…and He also showed me…more I give, the more I receive! My cup runneth over!
