His Mysterious Ways

img_3927This morning I felt led to ask my grandmother to share her salvation story with me.  She explained that it was hard to put into words…yet tried by saying the time was solemn yet exciting and she felt exhilarated yet peaceful.

She stated after my grandfather passed, she worried about my grandfather’s salvation.  However, a few nights later she saw him in a dream.  She went on to say he was wearing his gray suite, he turned to look at her, and was holding a church bulletin in his hands.  She explained it was his way of reassuring her that she would join him one day in heaven!   She said she has had a peace about it ever since.

I told my mother of this exciting news and she disclosed that my Uncle Brad, who had just passed away less than a year ago, told her a story about my grandfather too.  She said my uncle went to the mailbox one day and someone he would have sworn was my grandfather handed him a salvation track and then kept walking.  My uncle’s home was in the middle of the country and people don’t just walk down the road.  My uncle explained that when he went inside the phone rang and he had received the news of my grandfather’s passing.  WOW!  I asked my grandma if she had heard this story and she admitted she had not.  She responded by saying that the Lord works in mysterious ways!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
