This morning I got to help Kevin out with logistics. He even let me ride the big truck! Oh it’s the little things that bring me such joy!
My afternoon’s team name was Holy Swiss. After prayer, we decided to head in the direction of Dairy Queen and look for possible encounters along the way. We thought we were clever because our team name and Daily Queen resembled one another…Holy is to Queen as Swiss is to Dairy! LOL!Our first stop was at a road side stand. I explained I wanted to purchase some sweet corn to take home. After a brief conversation with the seller, she let us pray for her and I bought a dozen ears of corn to enjoy both here and in MS.
Next, we saw a lady outside sitting with her dogs. Two of us approached her and I shared I was out of town and missed my pets. Eventually, she got around to asking me why I was in WI. I explained a little about the TTR ministry and noticed she got a little nervous. I didn’t want to push her, but did briefly pray a quick prayer to bless her family before leaving.
We did stop at Dairy Queen and got a small ice cream before heading to a nearby park. We ended up praying for Nancy and her caregiver and we encountered David who already had a bracelet and Bible. It was fun getting to hear what he had learned from those he had encountered earlier this week!
