This afternoon, I helped lead prayer while the teams hit the streets. As we were waiting for prayers to come pouring in, we prayed for church unity and for revival to break out in the community. The Lord gave me a vision of a geese flying in formation and a star being their guide. As we continued praying, the geese transformed into a Christmas tree with garland around it. I shared this image because the Lord kept it bringing it to my attention. One of the people in the group stated she owns a tree farm. Another gentleman said that he had been seeing a vision of a fake tree with garland around it too. The tree farmer said they have a sign in their front yard that says “Plastic has changed the world, don’t let it change your Christmas.” While we continued pressing in, the garland became popcorn and cranberries. Even the decorations on the trees were going from artificial to real.
That evening, the pastor’s gathered and repented on behalf of their leadership to their congregations and to the community as a whole. This instantly shifted the atmosphere. I believe it was the answer to this afternoon’s prayer…The geese represented the unity of the church, all moving in the same direction and pointing to Christ. Through their repentance, the leadership went from appearing united to breaking down the barriers and becoming one body in Christ! To symbolize the unity, after praying for the pastor’s everyone got into a circle and sang “We are One in the Spirit.” AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!
