I had just shared how the Lord uses everyday things to bring His word to life. Then, we brought up the two Greek words Logos and Rhema. From here, we began processing how the printer is a lot like us and we need to be cleaned and reloaded to function efficiently and effectively. As it turned out, everyone made it where they needed to in at exactly the right time! The Lord is faithful and has a fun way of bringing ordinary happenings into teachable moments!
It’s Greek to me
This morning I was asked to help Thomas and Caleb made 1000 copies so they could hand them out before outreach this afternoon. Well, the printer was not running as it should, so a 10 minute project turned into a major ordeal. The hold up was bringing up scheduling problems, transportation issues, etc. etc. Caleb had to leave so Thomas and I sorted cut and gathered the copies for about 30 minutes. The printer ran out of paper. When it did, it gave the notice it was cleaning itself after we reloaded the paper. After this took place, it functioned as it should and we Rhonda came in to help us. As it turned out, we were able to complete in 5 minutes what it had taken us about 45 minutes to do.
