Several of the team members were drawn to a train depot so we began walking towards it. As we got closer, we saw where 4 track intersected. On the other end of the tracks we noticed a single man standing there. Rich and I decided to walk the tracks to find out what he was up to. It turns out that he is a photographer that loves to video and take pictures of trains. He explained it was his hobby. He wouldn’t allow us to pray for him. However, a car pulled up while we were speaking to him.
The gentleman in the car’s name was Michael. He said he too comes to sit and watch trains pass by on his days off of work. He shared he was dying due to heart disease. I offered to pray for him on numerous occasions, but he wouldn’t allow me to. We did get to go through the scriptures with him and reassure him that he would be going to heaven. He was a believer, but feared his sins would prevent him from spending an eternity with the Lord.
While listening to him, two trains went by on the second train track and then the third train went by on the furthest track! It was neat, as we knew his perception had been altered and his mind “switched tracks.”
