This morning my team prayed and one of my team members saw the color blue. The color blue led us to the recovery walk and I had an amazing encounter with someone who had grown up in the foster system. She shared what the Lord has been putting on her heart to educate the church about trauma and the orphan spirit. She explained her prayer is to address it during childhood and allow Jesus to bind up the broken hearted. Her desire is for the children to get their identity in Christ and see God as their Father so they don’t look to things of this world to numb their pain or problems. They they will seek Truth and not lies of the enemy for answers and because of this, there would no longer be a need for recovery programs in future generations.
I explained I just had a child who was in state custody in my home and the Lord had been revealing to me the importance of linking arms to gain more ground because the enemy can take us out when we are isolated. I am anxious to see how the Lord unifies us and develops this partnership!
