She’ll be comin’ round the mountain…

img_1277This afternoon, I mentioned I wanted to go to the mountain.  So, we headed off towards one of the nearby mountains.  On the way, we saw a mechanic shop called “Mabe.”  We prayed with the owner and one of his employees.  We encouraged him and blessed his business and upcoming marriage!  We stopped on top of the mountain and enjoyed the work of our Father’s hands!  On the way down, we prayed with a gentleman who was working in his yard.  He was part of one of the church’s that is involved with the outreach.  We prayed for another gentleman who was working on his car that loved what we were doing, but who’s church was not involved.  He stated he would encourage his pastor to connect with the other pastors who are involved!

Our adventure ended at a family’s home who’s grandchildren attend one of our team member’s youth group.  We prayed healing for the grandfather and for the grandchildren’s father.  He had been hurt by the very church he is allowing his children to attend.  I was amazed that the oldest child wanted to come with us on a weekend night instead of going shopping at the mall with her mother to spend the money she had just gotten for her birthday!   Talk about a hunger for more of Him!  Lord, pour out Your Spirit into my dear sister!  Grow her, teach her, and fill her with Your love Lord!  Thank you for connecting her with a church family who will steward  her well and we ask for you to heal the wounds of her father so he may come to know You more!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
