What a Glorious Day!

img_1805This morning, I had prayer with Ray.  It was incredible!  I am so thankful for the Mining the Truth ministry and the way the Lord uses it!

After lunch, Gail, Martha and I took off on foot to see who the Lord wanted to bless.  I shared that my knee began hurting and right in front of us was a sign that said “Got Pain?  Come Inside.”  So, we knew we were where we needed to be.  We walked into the Candle Shop and asked if anyone had knee pain.  The three customers said no, but Mark behind the counter said…doesn’t everyone?  We asked him if we could pray for his healing.  He said yes and commented that the intensity of the pain decreased as a result of the prayer.

We gave him a bracelet and explained the verses to him.  When we asked him if there was anything preventing him from praying he said “no.”  We all had a dumbfounded look on our faces…and Martha asked if he knew what that meant, and he said “yes.”  Needless to say, the angels rejoiced over him accepting Christ as his Savior!  He then disclosed he tried to end his life a few years ago, and he felt he had nothing to live for.  It was as if during that time, the Lord made Himself real to him…and Mark had been waiting for us to come and tell him about how Jesus wants to set him free…

In the excitement, we forgot to ask him if he wanted follow up or to be baptized.  Caleb, another team member happened to be right there with the mobile baptismal, so we sent him back into the store.  When he came out he said Mark immediately noticed his wristband and asked for him to tell us we had forever changed his life, amen?  As it turned out, he has been attending church with his family so wanted to get baptized there with them!

This evening, a team of us went and ate at a park where they were feeding the homeless.  I ended up sitting next to Sky and she had happened to spend most of her afternoon with another team who had been speaking life into her.  I was able to clarify some of the scriptures with her and she acknowledged the Lord was definitely pursuing her. Come to find out, I talked to Heather who happened to be the one who spent time with Sky earlier this day.  She said she was weeping over her during the same time we were encountering her this evening.  Please agree with us in prayer Sky will continue being open to hearing the Gospel, but even more importantly responding to His love.

Tonight, the ministry hit the streets instead of having service.  My team went to a local’s business to pray over it.  We went next door and prayed for that business owner’s healing.  While we were doing that, another member noticed a gentleman about to get on his bicycle nearby.  It happened to be someone who our team member had been ministering to.  It was beautiful, as he said yes to Jesus and requested discipleship, amen?

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
