This is the first Hispanic church reviveTUPELO has on board! It was so fitting! My team literally went walking down the street and the pastor began knocking on doors. We prayed for a daughter who spoke English, but who’s mother spoke Spanish. She was elated when she discovered it was the pastor of the church coming to her home. She said she would tell her mother and possibly join them Sunday morning!
Next, we came a crossed a young man working on his car. He ended up being the son of Lisa, whom I went to school with. We went through the scripture with him and he said yes to Jesus! The pastor got a phone call saying he needed to return to church. It gave my team an opportunity to talk and for me to discern why our time on the street was cut short. I soon realized the Lord was pursuing one of the gentleman on my team. After prayer and conversation, he too made Jesus the Lord of his life! What a fun way to get to finish the year strong than getting to be a part of 2 salvations! Glory! Glory!
