Authentic vs. Replica

When I was returning home from Englewood, I took a short break and drove to Suwannee Music Park.  While I was there, I noticed a beautiful rainbow haze on a small pool of water.  At first I thought it was beautiful.  But then I realized it was caused by oil and processed how that effected the living things below.   Simply put, that pretty haze prevents the oxygen and air from getting below.  The Lord reminded me the enemy tries to replicate everything that is good and creates a counterfeit.  Because of this reminder and warning, I need to constantly be discerning what is of Him verses what is of the enemy.  While I was in Orlando this week, I so badly wanted to go to the Holy Land Experience.  However, He reminded me of trip to Suwannee Music Park…I need to first study the authentic so I can easily identify the fake.  Even though it might be a fun experience, it’s not the real thing.  Needless to say, I didn’t go.  But what a great reminder of the importance of reading His Word so we can be able to identify what is and is not of Him or who is and is not for Him, amen?
