As my team was about to get into the vehicle to leave the church, we noticed someone a crossed the street was leading a horse. I explained I have had several words spoken to me about the Lord wanting me to get on the horse and He would take me places I have never dreamed about.

As we continued watching, we noticed the gentleman began saddling up the horse. I knew that was my sign to approach the gentleman. Needless to say, he let me ride Smokey! Then, he began sharing his heart about rescuing horses and children.

As it turns out, he is a believer who works for child protective services and has opportunities to tell some of the children he works with about Jesus. After we prayed for him, his son and the son’s three friends, we showed them how to use the Bible and wristbands. We left with an open invitation to return any time! I am excited to see how this relationship matures!

As we pulled into the church parking lot, I received a phone call from my husband explaining my stepson is wanting to move back to MS on Monday! How awesome is it that the Lord is bringing home a prodigal? How Jesus is acting as the social worker by removing my stepson from the world and heal him from the brokenness he received while living and partnering with what the darkness has to offer. I am anxiously awaiting how the Lord works in this new redemptive story with Jonah! The Lord assured me long ago both Neil and Jonah would follow in their Father’s footsteps! Here’s to holding onto His promises!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
