I felt the Lord wanted me to visit the Diamond Caverns on my way home today. I was unable to get in due to the mask requirements. Instead, I decided to go back to the Mammoth Cave National Park that I had passed on the way.
I asked the Lord what it was that He wanted to show me. As I began walking, I came to a fork in the road and remembered the Lord is coming back to separate. I chose the narrow road which was to my right and it brought to my mind Matthew 7:14, about narrow is the road that leads to life and only a few find it and also Matthew 25, about how He will put the sheep on His right and the goats to His left.
As I continued walking , I came to this bench and the scripture “Be still”…resonated in my spirit…I sat down and looked up what this command truly meant and discovered the word still is a translation of the Hebrew word rapa, meaning “to slacken, let down, and to be still…in my words…to let the Lord fight for us or to surrender what it is that we are wrestling with, amen?
Lastely, I came upon these 5 daisies…and we all know 5 represents the Lord’s grace, kindness, and favor.
In summary, I am so thankful that even though the narrow road isn’t the easiest, when we are surrendered to Him, He will fight for us and we will be in the midst of His grace and loving kindness!
