Neil and I traveled Sunday afternoon to Bay St. Louis. On the way, we encountered severe weather and were delayed due to trees blocking the roadways. When we arrived at our destination at about 7:00 p.m., we found out it was going to be three more hours until our room was ready. The staff asked Neil if he would be willing to stay at a different location so we wouldn’t have to wait and he agreed.
We were a little skeptical when we discovered the address given to him was a Motel 6. However, as soon as we walked into the room we were relieved because it had just been renovated and smelled of bleach. I appreciated the cleanliness and immediate place to settle in and rest after the challenging drive.
The following morning, we went back to where we were originally supposed to stay. They not only upgraded our room to a presidential suite, but we were also given two complimentary buffets! Neil’s meals were already compensated, so the Lord assured I was provided for too! What a blessing that was from above! I love how the Lord shows His faithfulness and goodness at the most unexpected times!
