Fight Back!

As Neil and I were leaving the campsite to go purchase some supplies in Iuka, I got a stabbing pain in my stomach.  One of the reasons the Lord allows me to feel this type of pain so I will begin interceding for protection for a frontal attack.  The stronger the pain became the closer to town we got.  We had to hurry, as the store closed at 9:00.  I continued praying, not understanding what or why I was praying about.

However, as we were headed out of town, we saw numerous law enforcement vehicles lined up along the side of the road.  Neil quickly checked the news to see if he could find anything.  As it turned out, there was an armed standoff that began at approximately 4:00 a.m.  and it was 9:00 p.m. as we drove by.  After finding out what it was, I knew this was what the Lord was having me pray about.  Since Neil is in law enforcement, he prayed for the safety and mindset of the first responders and I prayed the person who had barricaded them self inside would peacefully surrender.  After praying, the pain in my stomach subsided.

The following morning, we quickly arose to see if the news had posted anything about the standoff.  Well, we discovered not more than 10 minutes after we prayed, the crises ended peacefully!  I am believing the Lord was just waiting on someone to intercede and release Kingdom solutions into the atmosphere and then He would send His angels to move and overcome the darkness, amen?

One Breath

img_7624Today, is Valentine’s Day and I was able to show Christ’s love to Merideth as she was accepted into the Transformation Home!

What a privilege to get to see the fruit of much prayer and time of others pouring into her!  There is no greater gift that He could have given me!  His goodness runs after us!

Psalms  31:19-20

In Tupelo as it is in Heaven!

Tonight, 10 churches came together as one body in Christ and committed to prayer walk the city of Tupelo for 40 days!  Watch out Satan, the church is waking up and we are claiming back our territory in Jesus name!

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Childlike Faith

img_7584This morning, Mattie requested for Neil and I to sit with her.  During worship, the thought this little one will prevent me from being able to go and pray as I felt led.  Well, it didn’t take but half a song for the Lord to correct my thinking!

As Lela and I were praying for a gentleman, Mattie came up to us.  She was looking at me as I was crying and said…those are happy tears, right?  This blessed my socks off.  She didn’t say a word as we prayed for another person.  She just continued watching and taking it all in.

As we went back to our seats and she said, “Ms. Susan, we aren’t finished.  We need to pray for him” and she pointed to someone at the alter.  I quickly followed her and noticed I had gained confidence and was able to annunciate my prayers with authority and boldness.  When I felt released from him, she pointed to one of the girls from the home.  It just so happened that she was praying for her children and what better way to tangibly see the Lord hearing our prayers than for Him to send a child to pray for you?!

Later, Chris Payne told Neil he had been at the alter praying about having an opportunity to preach a sermon entitled “A Way Out” so one of his friends who recently died would have a legacy to pass onto his daughter.  This was happening as Maggie was directing me in who needed prayer.  Well, it just so happened that the friend Chris was praying about was Maggie’s daddy and Maggie ended up right in front of him as he was praying for her!  Whew!  The Lord moves in mighty ways!

Upon conclusion of the service, the Lord kept prompting me to get the leaders of the church up front so our congregation could hold up their arms while we prayed for them.  The Lord was showing me as we  (the church) are going deeper into the enemies grounds and it’s going to take all of us working together to press in and lock our shields together to gain ground for the Lord’s Kingdom. It’s not just the staff’s job, but it will take all of us, amen?

The Lord woke me up and said release, release, release!  He revealed to me the word He had given me in Miracle City pertained to what was being birthed by Betty Love  in Yazoo City this morning!  How fun it is when He gives you a glimpse of what He wants to release on earth as it is in Heaven!

To continue building on the decree and declaration for righteousness, my team felt led to pray over the churches in Tupelo.  As we were approaching the host church, the Lord brought to my attention last month my team prayed for the schools and this month churches…He had prompted us to cover 2 of the 7 mountains of influence!  I shared this with Lela and we will prayer walking on Tuesday to continue covering the 5 other areas!

Psalm 34:8

img_7569I just knew I had to be here tonight!  The Lord said you don’t want to miss out on what I am doing!  What a blessing it was to see old friends and meet new ones and hear how He is moving a crossed this nation!  Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Speak to Me!

img_7515How cool is God?  I answered the phone the other day and a dear friend was on the other end.  I got the privilege of getting to pray for her and do some inner healing and deliverance.  While listening, the Lord gave me a vision of a red balloon.  It brought to her remembrance a memory of when she was young the Lord wanted to heal her heart from.  Later that afternoon, Laura brought balloons to the office showing my friend how much He was pursuing her and how much she was loved!  I am humbled He can use willing vessels to be a part of His works, amen?

I also had a dream of another one of my team members and I was able to share it with them.  They explained someone else had a dream of the Lord using them in the same capacity.  This was confirmation that we all were hearing correctly and this individual was encouraged!  God is soooo good and fun!
