During worship this morning, my stomach began hurting and I knew I had to pray against addiction. As the intensity of the pain increased, I felt Neil (my husband) kneeling beside me. I told him we needed to pray against addiction. The Lord was not giving me images, I only saw darkness. This is unusual for me, so I knew I needed to press in until I saw light.

After some time had passed, the pain in my stomach had subsided and I told Neil the Lord wants to replace addiction with His love. As we prayed for this, I saw the clouds part and His light shining down on us! I knew He was pouring out His love. Then I heard the Holy Spirit whisper, “praise Me!” So, I told Neil we needed to thank and praise Him for what He was doing. During this time, I saw a gold crown with a ruby on the top, diamonds going down the side with a cream silk underlay. I looked up the colors and the red stands for covetous sin and righteousness. Cream symbolizes healing, and gold purification.
As worship concluded, I asked Neil if he wanted to pray for Jonah (my stepson). Neil disclosed he had been praying for himself. It wasn’t until that moment I realized what had just happened. The addiction I was feeling was Neil’s. He has been tobacco free for over two weeks! The Lord took that from him and replaced it with His love and righteousness and we praised Him for this victory! Neil stated he felt as though the Lord was peeling back layers. He explained he felt he had been standing in the shadow of the trees in the woods, but the Lord cut them back so he was seeing more light. The Lord is purifying and healing him! Neil said he is hoping to get the the place where nothing is between him and Lord…amen?

Several months ago, Pam gave me this angel and said it was a portal. She stated people would just be driving and feel led to stop. Well, her prophecy is coming to fruition! Monday, Missy came by to share what has been going on with her and tonight my nephew visited us. Missy hasn’t been to my home since I had Bible Study and Hayden hasn’t been to our home in almost ten years! Come on Lord! Bring them to Yourself and compel them with Your love!
My dad took me to get the oil changed in my car as my Valentine’s Day gift. I was able to pray for a gentleman’s hand and he stated the pain had already subsided. From there, we went to the Lee County Library. I handed out a hygiene bags, Valentine’s Day happies, and prayed with several homeless that were there to stay dry on this dreary, rainy day. My hope is that we spread a little joy to all those we touched!
This morning as we prayed, I visualized a torch. When I shared this, Jennifer said she envisioned us hugging numerous people. She stated she felt like the people we encountered were to feel the hands of God on them. Just as she said that, I looked up and noticed we were in front of First United Methodist Church. I commented that FUMC has a ministry called Helping Hands and it usually open on Saturday mornings. When we pulled up, the parking lot was full. We believed we were exactly where the Lord wanted us.
Today, we discussed how Moses was trusted to deliver His people and part of that process was to assist the Israelites into His Presence!
