BODY

Body

Last year I heard the Holy Spirit speak the word BODY.  I began seeking its meaning and found – 1 Cor. 6:19-20 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” This verse convicted me and I began eating healthy foods, exercising and drinking water. Because of His prompting and my obedience, I have lost weight and feel better than I have in years.

Well, a few months later I felt the need to close down CR at our church. This was not of ME, as this was my calling for 9 amazing years…but, I kept feeling that there was more He was trying to tell me…and this led me to Eph. 1:22-23 “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” As soon as I spoke to our Sr. Pastor he listed ways the CHURCH body could support and help if we felt led to relaunch CR. Immediately, I felt peace! If you know me, then you are aware I’m not good at “being still”. However, I have been waiting on His prompting of what to do about CR.

And since that time, I felt led to participate in Revive Tupelo. You are never going to believe what the Holy Spirit revealed to me this weekend…ready for it? Through this ministry, it brings numerous churches from within Tupelo to work together as one …body… of CHRIST!

How cool is God? He began by doing a work within me and on my physical body…then while waiting on His prompting regarding the church body, He has allowed me to be a part of a ministry that has numerous church’s serving in unity on behalf of Christ’s body! I have no idea where this is leading…but I do know that I am excited and can’t wait to see what He has in store!

Please join me in prayer…as OPEN is the new word He’s given me!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
