Fuel the Fire

Fuel

This morning I felt we needed to follow up with the fire department; however, the Lord had other plans.  Several of our team members wanted coffee before we headed out so we stopped at a convenience store.  We prayed for two people pumping fuel before we even went inside.

After I got my coffee, I asked the cashier if I could pray for her and about 5 more employees surrounded us and asked if I could pray for them too.  As they were sharing their prayer requests, 10 more employees came out from the back. We all got in a huge circle and prayed, it was sooo powerful.  We had 3 follow ups from that one stop.  One of the employees shared that they have been having a morning devotion and it has helped unify the staff.

As we set off towards our next destination, one of the team members said they had a dream about a painted tree.  At that moment, I saw the “Our Art Works” sign and another team member said she was the assistant manager there.  As we walked up, I noticed the skull at the doorway.  Someone suggested we go and buy a pumpkin and offer it as a trade.  It just so happened that I still had the pumpkin in my trunk from the day before!

One of the team members saw several paintings of butterflies.  She had just shared a story about the significance of butterflies to her and showed us a photograph of a specific butterfly.  The assistant manager saw the photo and stated she had painted a butterfly with the exact same colors.  She also had painted a tree to represent her new family.  We each put our finger print on her tree as a representation of being a part of her forever family.  We were amazed by our Heavenly Father’s attention to even the smallest of details.

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
