A glimpse…

trip 1

Throughout my first trip to Indiana for my MIP interview, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper “connect.”  I pondered it’s meaning, thinking the Lord might want me to connect with the locals.  My heart has still been burdened for the discipleship program.  I woke up one morning at 3:00 after watching a reviveSARASOTA video of an alcoholic pouring out all of his whiskey.  He surrendered his life to the Lord and requested follow up.  The Lord reminded me how difficult it was for someone who was not an alcoholic to relate to me when I was first getting sober.  The harder I tried to explain my feelings and the harder they tried to understand, the more frustrated we both became.  My prayer for this gentleman has been that he finds a mentor to help him grow spiritually, but also someone in recovery who can relate to his experiences and struggles of addiction. Now, I am believing the Lord wants me to connect local resources/ministries with churches so they can help new believers along their journey and enhance their lives!

REvive tripThen on the second trip…I heard “seek Me.”  I kept seeing images that led me to believe He was giving me a small glimpse of heaven while I am here on earth…and by allowing me to be a part of this ministry…I will get to experience a small glimpse of who He is on this side of eternity!  Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
