Lord I Lay Me Down…

I had an amazing time reconnecting with a friend today and watching how the Lord used her even though she was in midst of her own trials.  I was reminded that God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called! SAT

My team ended up going to the Salvation Army during lunch.  One of my church’s Sunday School classes where feeding the homeless.  I ended up having an opportunity to pray for as many of my church members as I did homeless!  The Lord also crossed my path with a few people that I had met a week prior during the Point In Time homeless count.  I was able to follow up with them and pray with them too.

On our way back to the church, we saw this tow truck and at first we mistook it for a cross.  We all agreed it was a cool illustration that Christ is the source of all our help and if we pick up His cross and follow Him daily, we will be right where He wants us to be.

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
