What a fun day we had going out to share God’s love on the streets of Tupelo. My team ended up on Green St. The guys prayed for a few people out and about and offered them encouragement. Since it was raining, we thought we would try going to laundry mats, but other teams had the same idea. Artis and Zeke did go into one with a reviveTUPELO sign displayed in the window and shared the gospel with someone inside. Judy and myself stayed in the car to pray. While we were waiting, I noticed multiple people going in and out of the liquor store next door. I felt led to pray for the cashier. He was Muslim but allowed me to pray for his health and Judy shared the Gospel with him.
Zeke felt led to go into Bishops. I prayed for the server and Zeke reviewed the scriptures on her bracelet. She agreed to pass it along as she was a believer. We spent the remaining time at Burger King. Zeke and I caught up on life while Artis and Judy spent time with a homeless gentleman seeking employment. I listed numerous community resources that would be able to assist him, but he was not interested. We left praying the Lord would continue placing people in his path while he finds his way.
