While we were praying this morning, I thanked the Lord for being able to ride in on the tsunami of prayers. Cheryl said she saw us in numerous boats on the tsunami rescuing people/souls all around us! How fun is that?!?
Craig and I prayed for Steve who was under a bridge. He was a believer and said he’s already been baptized. Other team members prayed for a female who was in recovery. We saw a thin blue line flag flying where they were standing. We left that encounter believing she will continue walking with Him under His protection!
Cheryl and I prayed for a young lady at Sonic. During our debriefing, she commented she felt like she gave up too easily. This young lady was still sitting there after we finished eating our ice cream, so Cheryl went back and reviewed the Bible with her. What a neat example of the Lord giving us grace and giving us one more opportunity to make things right!
Craig and I prayed for a gentleman who was fishing and just lost his job. He was a believer, but hadn’t been baptized. We encouraged him to come to this evening’s service to get baptized. After we left, I realized we should have asked him if he wanted to do it right there! Since the Lord gave Cheryl one more opportunity, I am believing the Lord will give me another opportunity to baptize someone right there on the spot!
