Acts 1:8

img_5363Emily and I both felt led to pray with first responders this morning.  Jerry, the driver on our team stated his son is second in command at the Fire Department in Denton!  Talk about an open door! Col. 4:2-3 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.  And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.”

We prayed with an entire shift at Central and were encouraged to go to the other 7 stations!  I was excited because the Holy Spirit filled me as I shared the gospel and I was not nervous in the least!  We also went to station #2 and they showed us around their new facility.  I loved the fact that they had a rescue boat for natural disasters…the vision Cheryl had seen just yesterday morning!  I stand amazed!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
