img_5351Tonight, my team had a special assignment to go to Zera’s coffee shop.  We never made it.  Instead, we ended up at a 7Feathers non-profit meeting.  The group consists of locals trying to get music and art festivals into the community.  They were leasing a room adjacent to a bar.   The members were coming outside to smoke, drink, and talk.

I was able to pray for a guy who just found out he was going to be a father.  He stated he just started going to a cowboy church and he is trying to get his baby’s mother to come too.  I also prayed with Kyle for Cassidy.  She is a survivor of child sexual abuse and is going to a weekend retreat in hopes of healing from this trauma.  She was open to sharing about her experience when she returns, but she put up a wall when we asked if she wanted to go through the scriptures.  Please be praying that she encounters Jesus and He radically transforms her from the inside out!

Tonight took me back to when I was in college.  These were exactly the type of people I would have been hanging out with.  When I returned to the church…Mary Rose prayed over me to receive the Holy Spirit fire.  My stomach got hot, my tongue got thick, and my knees got weak.  I believe the Lord gave me a tangible example of what it’s like to be filled with the Holy Spirit verses being drunk on wine!  I know He was burning away my impurities and aligning my desires to His.  He has taken me to a whole new level!!img_5507

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
