Sleepy Saturday

img_6266This morning I was able to be on a team with Sandra, Laura, and Alex.  As we prayed, I had a vision of Holy Spirit fire and a feather.  I discounted both, as Laura prayed about the Holy Spirit and she was wearing a feather bracelet.

Laura stated she usually goes to the church on map and then sees what is around it. I laughed on the inside because the church was located in Ponder…and that is where I wanted to go because the Volunteer Fire Department’s event that I bought a raffle ticket for was there. As we drove, Laura asked us to share what we had been pondering about.  It was awesome because as we entered the city Ponder, she released our words to our Father in prayer!

When we arrived at the church, I realized the Holy Spirit fire I envisioned was the Methodist symbol and we were at a Methodist church!  From the church, Alex felt led to go to a pharmacy.  It was neat because Alex connected with the staff member who suggested two businesses in Ponder that would be open to us praying with them.

We didn’t get directions, so just began driving.  The first place we came to was Bless That Jerk.  We went inside and got a table.  Come to find out, the managers were Christians whose main purpose is to create a safe environment for the locals to come so they can share the Gospel with them! The team ended up taking over the restaurant.  The Lord had an encounter for every one of my team members.  I was able to connect with the gentleman at the bar because I recognized him from Bev’s.  I prayed with him about his wife who recently had a stroke.  Later, a friend joined him and I was able to confirm he too was a believer!  As I sat back down at the table, I passed Laura and heard her asking the gentleman at the table about the feather on his necklace…as she shared about her bracelet!  How awesome is God?  I am learning not to doubt what I see and He reveals to me!

On the way back to the church, I saw the image of the blue wave on a car wash that I envisioned a few mornings before.  I am going to be intentional about going there before we leave!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
