5th Sunday

Our congregation leaves the building to be the church in our community every 5th Sunday of the month. This was my team I had the privilege of going out with! As our pastor prayed to dismiss us, Jonah mentioned he felt hot. I explained many people experience heat when the Holy Spirit is present.

Once we got into the car and prayed for direction about where to go, I felt led to get coffee and Neil stated he had just picked up an expired coupon from Huddle House in the offering. This was confirmation that we were to go to the Huddle House for coffee.

While sitting at the table, I was able to lead one of the young ladies into an encounter with Jesus. She began weeping right there; as Jesus gave her a hug and told her how much He cherished her. She commented she felt hot and knew the Holy Spirit was moving. Jonah’s eyes met mine as she said it!

We also got to pray for a homeless gentleman and our waitress, who was moved to tears. Several tables noticed what was going on and we were able to pray for them too before having to return back to church.

I was disappointed because we didn’t get a picture on that day. However, it gave me an opportunity to meet and lead the little girl in this picture to Jesus today! GLORY to God in the highest!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
