Listen!

Jonah, my step son, asked me for help to interpret his dream. As he was sharing and we were discussing it, my left and right ear began to hurt. I told Jonah the Lord speaks to me through pain. I commented my left ear hurting means someone is listening to lies of the enemy and my right ear hurting means I need to pay attention as the Lord is trying to tell me something. I continued by explaining I believed the Lord was revealing to me that he had walked away from the Lord’s will for his life due to lies he believed about his identity in Christ.

During church the very same week, Jonah told me his ears began to hurt during worship. He admitted he doubted me about my ear hurting while we were discussing his dream, but when his ears started hurting, he began to pay attention.

If that wasn’t enough…one of the members of our congregation asked our guest speaker permission to share what the Lord was speaking to him at the end of service. The church member stated that his ears felt strange during the sermon and he believed the Lord was opening up people’s ears to hear! I just love how the Lord confirmed the word of knowledge the very same week and in the very same way!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
