Love

img_1274This morning, I was asked to co-lead prayer.  The Lord brought it to my attention that Roar Ministries broke 2 jack hammers in the ground securing the tent for us…and the Lord reminded me of the vision of the needle and heart He gave me the beginning of the year…when He revealed it only takes a prick of His love to penetrate the hardest of ground and the hardest of hearts.

There is no better way to help someone experience this love than by leading them into an encounter with Him.  I read Matthew 12:22-36 to the participants and had them to ask Jesus what  He wants to share with them and for them to know.   As we concluded, I encouraged them to pass this experience on!Continue reading “Love”

Connections!

img_1275This morning my team headed out to Buffalo Gap.  We drove around until I requested we turn down Mulberry Dr. since that is my address.  We found a Recovery House on the end of the street so went in to ask if we could pray with the residents.  We were told to call back after lunch.

We got back into the vehicle and drove a little way up the road and noticed a gentleman taking out his garbage.  Half of the team got out and his children ran towards them.  They prayed and discovered the children had been attending church Wednesday nights that the pastor in our group preached at!  They motioned for us to get out of the truck and the pastor introduced himself the to father.  As they were talking, two ladies on bicycles rode up after they recognized the pastor.  One of the ladies was the owner of the Recovery House who is a believer and the locals are going to follow up with them next week and the father has agreed to take his entire family to church this upcoming week instead of only dropping off his kids, amen?

Kick Off!

img_1272This morning, my team went to the local middle school.  We took snacks to the teachers’ lounge and asked them how we could pray for them.  Several teachers requested prayers for the children in their classroom, one teacher was healed of shoulder pain, and we imparted peace and healing into a janitorial staff person’s heart.

When we returned to the church, I was able to pray for Neil, who also works at a middle school.  It was neat because as I was praying for his protection, I noticed a feather blowing on the ground.  It was confirmation the Lord heard my prayers and was covering him with His feathers, amen? (Ps. 91:4)Continue reading “Kick Off!”

reviveTX :: Jim Ned

img_1271This afternoon, we had lunch with the pastor’s in Abilene.  Upon leaving, I needed to get my phone fixed before heading to the outreach.  I asked Deedra; who was in the parking lot, for directions to AT&T.  We began talking and I prayed with her.  She disclosed she was a mom, but had a heart for missions.  I told her about revive and emailed her the outreach schedule.  How cool is it that just as she has begun looking for local ways to engage her community, reviveTX is kicking off in Jim Ned!Continue reading “reviveTX :: Jim Ned”

reviveTUPELO

img_0921This morning my team prayed and one of my team members saw the color blue.  The color blue led us to the recovery walk and I had an amazing encounter with someone who had grown up in the foster system.  She shared what the Lord has been putting on her heart to educate the church about trauma and the orphan spirit.  She explained her prayer is to address it during childhood and allow Jesus to bind up the broken hearted.  Her desire is for the children to get their identity in Christ and see God as their Father so they don’t look to things of this world to numb their pain or problems.  They they will seek Truth and not lies of the enemy for answers and because of this, there would no longer be a need for recovery programs in future generations.Continue reading “reviveTUPELO”

The One

Neil asked if I would be willing to take this young man into our home and into our family…and needless to say I said yes.  The Lord used him in numerous ways to teach me and stretch me…but something that impacted me the most is I got a taste of the Father’s heart.  You see, Neil and I prayed for him, loved him, wanted the best for him…and yet he didn’t receive it.  On the last day he was with us, I wept over him…over his choices, over him leaving and over his lost soul.

I could see so clearly what all he was missing out on because he chose the world over life everlasting…Oh how it will break your heart to know Truth and watch someone chose the lies instead.  Please join us in praying for this young man’s salvation…that his heart softens and he receives Jesus and makes Him Lord!

Divine Appointment

img_0922I felt led to take my team to a local McDonalds this morning.  The manager at this location just turned in her notice after working there her entire life!  We were able to pray for her and her new journey!  She admitted the team coming was confirmation she was making the right decision and the Lord was doing something new!

While we where there, we also prayed for a few of the staff and several of the customers for healing.  One of our encounters went from a pain level of 6 to zero!  God is sooo good!

One of the team members asked for one of the guys to take a picture of them eating together.  He explained this was the first time he actually enjoyed food.  He was recently released from prison and through addiction he ate only what he needed to live.  It was fun pouring into him and sitting back taking time to appreciate the things I often take for granted!

Taylor University

img_0923Kyle brought us to Taylor University where he had his Damascus Road experience.  He shared his testimony, prayed over some of the faculty and then we went to the campus sanctuary to worship.  I took a picture of the table with the 12 stones representing the 12 disciples/12 tribes before sitting down…I began reflecting on what it would have been like in upper room, then the Lord inviting me to sit at my table of value and then the Lord gave me beautiful visions.  The one that wrecked me the most happened while Josh was signing “Simple Gospel.”  It was a stone road that I knew in my spirit was from Israel.  It spiraled up as far as the eye could see…and when my eyes almost got to the top, it would spiral up some more…as I could feel was His love…His love reaching down as I was pressing up…I was overwhelmed because it was infinite.  After reading Isaiah 35, I thought He might be showing me a glimpse of the Highway of Holiness and now that I’ve studied Isaiah 62, it resonated in my spirit yet again that Kyle’s ministry is essential in preparing the highWAY for His return!  What an honor it is the be a part of the Lord’s work in this ministry!

Psalms 37:4

img_0754This morning, Pam mentioned that she was promised a steak about 3 years ago that she never gotten and then for supper, you will never believe what the Lord provided!?!

During this morning’s conversation I mentioned how I haven’t been able to find any sugar-free ice cream and low and behold, the ice cream stand we went to had my favorite flavor AND it was sugar-free!!  God is even interested in the small stuff!
