Today I got to go out with with fabulous team; Rich, Bella, and Lizzy. We ended up at Wal-Mart and prayed for numerous people in the parking lot. One of the girls cut her finger so we bought some bandaids. While we were inside ,we prayed for someone who was in remission from cancer.
As we were headed to our vehicle, we noticed a mother and adult daughter getting her car towed. They allowed us to pray for them and the girls shared how we go through the Gospel with folks on the street as they said they went to The Crossing Church and heard about reviveFLORIDA! The mom homeschooled, so Bella and Lizzy were great examples of what her children could do. She stated she was going to bring her kiddos later in the week to hit the streets with us! How fun is that?
This afternoon the box fan fell over as I was taking a nap and another time as I passed by it. I knew the Lord was trying to get my attention, so I asked Him what it is that He wanted me to learn.
Tampa is one of the largest cities known for human trafficking due to the international ports. I was so encouraged to discover there is a faith based initiative and they have successfully gotten a church to adopt each strip club and make contact with the dancers on a monthly basis! I had the privilege of getting to be on the team that got pour into the “church ladies” who go into the clubs and minister to the girls. What a blessing it was and they are! Please be in prayer that His light will overcome the darkness and the dancers will become His daughters, amen?
It’s harvest time, it’s harvest time, it’s time for the harvest kept welling up in my spirit every time I saw a cotton field. As I continued driving, I noticed cotton along the side of the road…leaving a remnant where it had passed through. I asked the Lord for revelation as to what this meant. Then on Saturday, there was a gentleman at the Dogtrot Festival who shared how he picked, prepped, stored, and sold cotton. It was neat because he demonstrated how they manually removed the seeds from the fiber.
Today my team ended up at the Dogtrot Festival at the Oren Dunn Museum. We were able to pray all the venders and each team member knew someone they were able to speak life into. What a fun and 2 Cor. 1:3-4 kind of day! “Praise be to the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us I all our troubles, so that we can comfort those is any troubles with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
As we were leaving our time together in Goshen, I saw mist hovering over the waters and it made me think of Genesis 1:2. Then, I saw a sign that said Warsaw Biblical Gardens. I knew the Lord was speaking.
Wow! What an amazing team I get to run along side! This was the first time we have ever all gotten together; some were old friends, some new, and some I can’t wait to get to know! During this week we had fun, fellowship, and heard Kyles heart about where he sees us in 2020, as we will have just graduated from reviveSCHOOL!
As I have shared in the past, the Lord used someone to give me a word about Him being a horse and I was fighting Him instead of getting on so He could take me to places I couldn’t dream of!
