A Faith Story by Susan Naron
So this morning during prayer, I shared some things I was struggling with. During the conversation, someone explained to me when something pricks my heart, I should praise the Lord as He is revealing one more thing He wants to heal my heart of. I never looked at it that way before! I was also reminded the scripture says we are to give thanks IN all things, not FOR all things, amen?
Betty Love came and prophesied over Tupelo at King’s Gate. During a break, Brother Terry stated he believed the Lord was calling me forth to lead a city prayer initiative.
The Lord brought to my remembrance the prayer walk I took my Bible Study girls on before I became a full time team member for TTR. We went to a hospital, school, church, national guard and city hall. I thought it was amazing we tackled 4 of the 7 mountains! I can’t wait to see what He has in store!
What a special day! I was able to spend it at the transformation home with all the girls. When I got home I opened up the best gift from my hubby; a travel coffee maker! This way I can make a cup here, I can make a cup there, I can make a cup of Joe anywhere!
While Neil was driving my parents and I to the restaurant, we saw this beautiful rainbow. From there, we visited our God children. Thank you Lord for blessing me beyond measure!
What a nice visit we had with our Jonah man!
I see him making the same choices I did at his age and it grieves me to the core. Please join me in praying he will begin running as hard after the Lord as he has been things of this earth and that the Lord will speak to him in dreams and he will wake up with the desire to seek first the Kingdom of God and take the necessary steps to follow through, amen?
Today, instead of the Anchor Church sitting in pews, we were the church and got out of the building! 15 teams of 4 hit the streets of Tupelo to share Christ’s love. 7 people made Jesus their personal Lord and savior and my team had an encounter with someone I will never forget!
Before we began our adventure, we prayed for clarity and direction. I saw a vision of rushing water. Jamie commented he noticed the bank downtown had a fountain, so we decided we would head that direction after eating lunch. Jamie’s daughter wanted to go to Connie’s chicken and to say it was busy would be an understatement. So this little puppy roamed up to the Middle School where Neil works and plopped down with her front legs crossed just like our Lacey girl used to do. Neil said it was all down hill from there. He knew this little one sought him out. She even patrols the back yard fence like Lacey did! What a joyful addition Lilly has already been to our home/family!
When I got home, my dad brought me a surprise! It was the rain galoshes as pictured here. Dad said Gill’s wife was going to give them away, but he thought I would like them so got them for me!

While the Lord was ministering to me, I kept hearing Him say align with Me, align with Me, align with Me! After I went through some inner healing, I realized I was able to trust in Jesus’s love for me because He demonstrated His love for us on the cross. As a result of this trust, I was open to give and receive our Savior’s love.
I was also able to give and receive love from the Holy Spirit because the time I had invested in knowing Him and how He speaks to me so I can minister to others.
However, I was not aligned to receive my Heavenly Father’s love because of a misunderstanding I had with my earthly father when I was a young child. There were two silly things I would have never dreamed the enemy could use to cause a division between me and my Heavenly Father, but did.
After the Holy Spirit brought to light the lies I believing, I was able to break agreement with them and claim His truth and restoration! I am now in the position to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength!
Since becoming aligned with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I have been intentionally allowing my spirit man lead instead of my soul. I have realized I continually try to figure things out, but my mind is far too small to understand or make sense of something only the Spirit knows. Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
During this outreach, I caught myself doing three things for the first time! I worshiped with my flags in a corporate setting, I led an inner healing session instead of sitting quietly interceding, and I led a group of community intercessors instead of praying with my trusted team members! The Lord activated these new gifts and shielded me from the enemy. He is a good, good Father!
Before debrief, Bob came up to me, placed his hands over my head and said all the curse words that were spoken over me have been broken! Then, he said the Lord is giving me an increase…an increase of discernment and an increase in the prophetic gifting! As he was speaking and prophesying over me, I felt the weight of God’s glory fall upon me, the heat from the Holy Spirit radiate throughout me, and then the joy of the Lord flow out of me. What an amazing way to end my time with the reviveTX team!
