Be Alert!

0d21211c-43b2-49e4-9744-69356ea28ce9-7348-0000059b8bc36963Throughout the week, we noticed a common thread.  The enemy was attacking and trying to take out first responders.  Every time you hear a siren, please lift our local heroes up in prayer!

As I was writing this, I had a revelation.  Anyone serving on the mission/battle field, would also be considered a first responder.  They are the hands and feet helping answer someone’s prayer/call for help!  What a privilege!

Revelation!

During worship yesterday, all I saw was darkness.  This concerned me so I shared this with someone.  He said that happened to him too.  He explained it was the Lord confirming I was headed in the right direction; as I am taking His light into the darkness!  He encouraged me to look back because as I walk; I am imparting new life and refreshment all around.

I spent some time in prayer.  The Lord took me to a tree by a river.  As I sat there, I began seeing in color again!  He reminded me I needed to refill, renew, and refresh with His living water as I am pouring out.  He reminded me I don’t have to be alone and away from others to get recharged, just still!

I also saw Israel, then darkness.  I heard “city on a hill.”  He showed me I was in a valley…as I looked up, I saw lights of the city coming on.  He was revealing how His light was spreading and multiplying because of the work we were/are going to do!

Fighting from Victory!

e72035d9-fac6-4316-8610-1db2e66178a7-7399-000005a7b83fd40eThere was a group of us talking about satan being on the prowl to kill, steal, and destroy.  During our conversation, it was brought to my attention that satan’s teeth were knocked out when Christ rose from the dead!  So, from this new piece of information, I learned even though satan is hunting us down, we should not fear when he roars. Why?  Because this roaring lion has no teeth.  If we stand firm in our Father and don’t run, we won’t be attacked by the predators lurching around the corner that do have teeth!  What a neat reminder that satan is no match for the Lion of Judah who has already won the battle and has a full set of teeth to defend us, amen? (Job 4:10; Isaiah 54:17)

Finished strong

This morning the roosters crowed and I jokingly stated we woke them up.  Martha replied it took TTR to wake them up…just as we are a tool the Lord uses to wake up the churches!

Laban, Aimee and I prayer walked around the host church 7 times. We anointed the entire block with oil the first lap, prayed as we felt led the next 5 laps and repeatedly said Jesus during the last lap.  When we were done, we yelled out JESUS on the top of our lungs in victory!

This afternoon, we went to McDonalds to get coffee before heading back to the church.  Each team member had an opportunity to pray with one individual and Aimee had the privilege of leading Shacoya to the Lord!  GLORY!

During this journey, I have been learning about the power and authority the Lord has entrusted all believers with.  Today, somebody brought to my attention the Lord has also given us DOMINION.  I am still uncertain as to what this means, so I can’t wait to see what He teaches me!

Unity!

img_2065This morning Laban and I prayed for Gina’s healing.  She is a local that began coming around because of the kindness and love she was receiving from the team.  What a compliment and affirmation of how good the Father’s love is!

I hit the streets with an amazing team.  The local gentleman is the ministry leader for a local Celebrate Recovery and the female is a home health nurse that hits the streets by herself weekly.  It was fun connecting the two and reminding them they are more powerful together than individually!Continue reading “Unity!”

2 Chronicles 7:14

img_2059Today the prayer team went to all four corners of the city and anointed it with oil.  We repented on behalf of the people and prayed blessings over the land.  When we finished, a local came with us and asked the Lord to open up the gate to the hospital again so it could bring physical healing and economical life back to their community.

That evening, we enjoyed worship service and time with fellow team members.
