reviveINDIANA

img_0947When gramma had her stroke, I was in the process of getting ready to head to Indiana for a week.  However, the Lord told me not to go at that time, but He reassured me I would have other opportunities to minister there in the future.  Well, it didn’t take long for Him to follow through on this word He spoke to me!  In the short time I was there, I was able to participate in an outreach and attend to one of their weekly prayer meetings!  In the process, I connected with some dear friends too!  Oh how He loves us and is faithful to give us the desires of our heart!

Tea Party

img_0939What a cherished kiss from God I experienced at my first tea party this afternoon!  Ms. Gloria placed a sheet of paper underneath each of our chairs and mine stated “God loves the way you pray.”  I teared up as I read this because have been silently wondering if I have been warring during worship as I should…and condemning myself for only being able to speak in tongues a few times…What confirmation that He loves me despite myself!  What a blessing and gift straight from heaven above!

The best is yet to come!

img_0828When we return to the church after hitting the streets, we always have a time for testimonies.  My team disclosed how I wanted to go to the local library in hopes of finding homeless.  The locals all began laughing as they do not have homeless in this particular community.  However, one of the young men was moved and gave me $50.00 to go towards pouring into the homeless here in MS.  Here are the 10 hygiene bags I can’t wait to distribute!

img_0875Oh what a joy it was to get to stay with this host family!  Dennis was the instigator for reviveINDIANA.  Every morning we began with a reviveSCHOOL lesson and every evening we listening to Dennis share about what he had learned while he was in class.  Talk about a true example of how to live and keep your eyes focused on Christ alone!

Joshua 1:8 “Study this Book of Instruction continually.  Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.  Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

TTR is going through the Bible together for the next two years.  Kyle will be teaching daily lessons and we will meet with small discussion groups weekly.

This is a picture of my D-group’s first meeting held this morning.  I can’t wait to dig into God’s word with these ladies!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2017

Highlights from reviveTX

What an amazing 50 days!  We saw people healed and people giving their lives to Christ daily.  On the first week, we were challenged to ask the Lord to give us the desires of our heart.  I asked the Lord to give me an opportunity to baptize someone.  The Lord doubled my portion.  I not only baptized one sister in Christ, I baptized two.  Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

My favorite healing story is about Lonnie.  The healing took place at a “Revive Taco Party” in a neighborhood park.  Several of us laid hands on him and began praying for his arthritic hands to be healed.  After many short powerful prayers, the pain in his hands left and he was able to straighten his ring finger!  Matthew 10:7-8 “As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.  Freely you have received; freely give.”

Romans 15:1-7

One of the most enjoyable days centered a round the homeless.  Our team arrived at the Salvation Army in time to assist with serving the donated food items to all who came.  It gave us an opportunity to first meet their physical needs before meeting their spiritual ones.  While driving back towards the church, we noticed several homeless under the gazebo.  We talked to them for about an hour and they asked US if we could pray for them.  What an honor!  We provided them hygiene bags the girls from the Restoration House made and they were delighted.

Another cherished memory during reviveWI happened the afternoon I shared how much I wanted a picture of the mountains.  As our team reached the overlook, we saw a rainbow!  Dennis declared Joel 2:28-32 over the land.  When he finished, the clouds were in the shape of a shofar!  To our left, the rain\Holy Spirit filled the mountainside!  What a mighty God we serve!

Highlights from reviveIN

On the morning before I was supposed to leave for reviveIN, my gramma had a stroke.  I knew that afternoon my mission field was going to be on the home front.  The following Tuesday, they moved her to Sanctuary Hospice House.  There, I was drawn to pray for the gentleman (Jessie) in the room next to hers.  During the prayer, he didn’t say a word.  I shared with him how much the Lord loved him and was pursuing him.  The following day, I went through the scriptures with him.  I asked if he believed in his heart God raised Jesus from the dead for his sins and he nodded his head yes.  The nurse encouraged him to confess it with his mouth and he said “I believe Christ died and rose from the grave and He is now my Savior.  With tear filled eyes, we all rejoiced and explained the angels were celebrating with us!  Then, the Lord put the song “Reckless Love” on my heart and I knew Jessie was the one I left the 99 for, amen?______________________________________________________________________________

Be the Light

Mom and I wanted to start a new tradition this year.  Because gramma was in the hospital in October and dad in November, we knew how dreary one could feel after spending time in one of the rooms.  Since we could empathize with those that had loved ones in the hospital, we decided to spread some Christmas cheer by leaving candy canes on all the windshields of the cars in the parking lot.  We approached several people returning to their cars and one even said we made his day, as he had just gotten some terrible news.  God’s perfect timing!
