Protect and Serve

img_8883-2Today, I felt led to visit with local law enforcement and look for homeless to give our hygiene bags to.  As we prayed, the Lord revealed Everest PD to two of our team members.  As it turned out, this department just lost an officer in March and were reviewing the videos of him being shot this week.  Click here to read more.  We were able to pray protection and healing for the department and the entire community.  We also prayed with the Chief (a fellow believer) and his secretary Grace.

From there, were went to a nearby park looking for homeless.  We didn’t see any. However, during one of our encounters, we prayed for a mother and her daughter who recently retired from being a dispatcher.  She was more than willing to tell us several locations to find homeless in the county.  What a fruitful day!

Mountain Time!

img_9376This afternoon, I had mountain time.  Cindy invited me to her house for a healthy lunch and fellowship.  It was nice relaxing in her peaceful home that is literally in the mountains!  I was able to be still, get some pet therapy, and enjoy some of the local flavor of WI!

As we were headed back to the church, she showed me a ginseng field they just planted a crossed the street of her property.  We actually climbed on top of her car to get a different perspective!  As Rick Warren mentioned in one of his articles, by seeing things through God’s eyes causes us to love Him more (Eph 3:18), helps us resist temptation (Pro 14:12), handle trials (Rom 8:28), and protects us from error (Eph 4:14).

Prayer

24c888f6-d992-4bf8-b312-7d01b836fb96-548-000000efafb68b2eToday I had an opportunity to sit in and observe a session with Ray.  Then, I had my own appointment with him and Cherry!  Wow, Wow, Wow!  What a mighty God we serve!

The Lord continues putting me in a position to receive more freedom so I can learn how to help others experience it too!  He reiterated that I need to get my identity in who I am in Him and not by what I do.

Psalm 107:13-16 – Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.  He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.  Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.

Power of Prayer

img_9347This afternoon, I helped lead prayer while the teams hit the streets.  As we were waiting for prayers to come pouring in, we prayed for church unity and for revival to break out in the community.  The Lord gave me a vision of a geese flying in formation and a star being their guide.  As we continued praying, the geese transformed into a Christmas tree with garland around it.  I shared this image because the Lord kept it bringing it to my attention.  One of the people in the group stated she owns a tree farm.  Another gentleman said that he had been seeing a vision of a fake tree with garland around it too. The tree farmer said they have a sign in their front yard that says “Plastic has changed the world, don’t let it change your Christmas.”  While we continued pressing in, the garland became popcorn and cranberries.  Even the decorations on the trees were going from artificial to real.Continue reading “Power of Prayer”

He’s A Good, Good Father!

488689d1-8e13-47c2-ba15-787446eef122-2334-0000064ad7ec8931Last night, Neil said he had a dream we were in a hardward store and he was proclaiming the Gospel.  He stated some people in the store were believers and some were not.  He explained in the dream we shared to the ones who were not believers…and it felt great!  I am singing praises to the Lord!  I have been praying our Heavenly Father would speak to Neil while he is sleeping and He answered my prayers!  He’s so good and faithful!

Lay It Down

img_9368Today’s sermon began with Kyle reading Luke 14:25.  It’s not enough to just believe in Jesus…what are you willing to do to follow Him? As the service concluded, the Lord showed me an image of feet…His feet!  He said walk it out!  Follow Me!  Then, I saw His oil falling over the entire world…the globe turned into one person’s head…He revealed it started with Him, now it’s up to us.  It just takes is one, then more will follow as His oil saturates all those we touch.  Lastly, I saw a magnolia blossom.  By us following Him in His steps, our aroma is sweet and pleasing!

You Are My Sunshine!

As Lela and I headed back to Wausau for reviveWISCONSIN week 3, we stopped at numerous Love’s gas stations and took a picture of a beautiful field of sunflowers that caught our attention. When Mindi returned to revive the following week, she painted a sunflower!  What a neat reminder, just how a sunflower always faces the sun, we too should always face THE SON!

Solar Eclipse

img_8939-2I asked the Lord to reveal the significance of the solar eclipse.  He already pointed out the scripture Joel 2:28-32 earlier this week. Then, during quiet time, He revealed to me the eclispe is symbolic of what happens when anything is put before His SON.  It results in darkness, emptiness, and loss. He is a jealous God and wants nothing to go before Him on the alter.

The yellow X on the map of America caught my attention. It brought back to mind the yellow X I saw on the street in Wausau.  A “crossroads” of sorts.  I believe He’s trying to show me as a result of our ancestors taking shortcuts and creating generational curses, our foundation has crumbled and our land is divided. However, it we repent, put Christ back as the head, our land will be healed and nation will be united.  If this happens, we will see a true revival!  Amen?
