Acts 1:8
Emily and I both felt led to pray with first responders this morning. Jerry, the driver on our team stated his son is second in command at the Fire Department in Denton! Talk about an open door! Col. 4:2-3 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God mayContinue reading “Acts 1:8”
Grace!
While we were praying this morning, I thanked the Lord for being able to ride in on the tsunami of prayers. Cheryl said she saw us in numerous boats on the tsunami rescuing people/souls all around us! How fun is that?!? Craig and I prayed for Steve who was under a bridge. He was a believerContinue reading “Grace!”
On the way to Dallas, Cyndi called Mary Frances and I and said as she was listening to the song Holy, “carrying the message” stuck out to her. GRACE!
During prayer, I kept hearing the Lord say “don’t focus on your sin and imperfections – focus on MY Righteousness! You are right before me!” I am so thankful for His grace and new mercies every morning! Amen?
JOY!
Today my team consisted of Carol, Buster (the dog), and Alex. We ended up going to a local Rehabilitation Facility. We prayed for several employees and then focused on praying for a few of the patients. It was fun to see everyone’s disposition change as they saw Buster headed their way. Several staff members encouraged usContinue reading “JOY!”
Let It Rain!
During last weeks devo, someone shared Zechariah 10:1 “Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone. I bought a pair of rain boots in preparation. We discussed this verse not only meansContinue reading “Let It Rain!”
