Children of God

Children

While my morning team was driving to our destination, we talked about how our Heavenly Father likes to watch His children have fun doing His work.  We felt we were on a scavenger hunt, He was giving us clues, and we just needed to be alert and tuned-in with Him.

We stopped and prayed for a church, but realized we were not at the correct address.  So, we continued down the road and found the church that was listed on the map.  We prayed for it and as we were about to leave, the church van pulled into the parking lot.  The driver asked if she could help us and we ended up praying with her and her husband.  If we had not stopped at the other church, we would have missed them.

Once we arrived at the host church for lunch, a lady walked up and asked if she was at the right place to get a flu shot.  I explained she was right where God wanted her.  I was able to pray for her and she ended up staying for worship and lunch.

That afternoon, I needed to get away and “be still.”  As I was headed back, I saw two teams holding signs along the side of the road.  I pulled over and joined them.  I connected with one of the ladies and she agreed to be my mentor. I can’t wait to see how the Lord develops our relationship!

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
