During one of our trainings Kyle explained how to figure out how many people were needed to start revival in Tupelo based on Jesus using 12. The answer for Tupelo is 19. The scripture “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” kept running through my mind.
This morning, Kyle asked all of the locals to raise our hands and for the out of towners to gather around us, hold our arms up, and pray over us. Looking around, it appeared that there were about 19 people from Tupelo and about 200 from other states. I was overwhelmed, humbled, and felt loved like I have never experienced before. One of the youth that prayed over me stated the Lord revealed to him that they were here to pour into the remnant…those they were leaving behind. I still get emotional thinking about that! God’s love is amazing!
Before lunch, Kyle felt burdened again to pray about discipleship. You see, all of the locals had already agreed to disciple one or two new believers and there were about 50 people still unaccounted for. My heart ached, I grieved, I wept. However, we left believing God would provide a way for each disciple to have a disciple maker and Revival would break out in Tupelo!
