Giddy Up!

img_0528This morning I was able to walk with Neil; what an adventure we had!  We both love piers, so we drove to Ocean Springs and off we went! Right away, I noticed the Lord was showing me signs…Red and green, slow down…and I realized how much I need to tune in and listen to His instructions.

The Lord also revealed to me how necessary it is to have my husband not just behind me on this journey, but more importantly beside me!  You see, I have a tendency to be all or nothing.  When Neil said he’d support me from home…I assumed he would just be sitting on the sidelines.  When I shared this with my mentor, she encouraged me to ask Neil to pray for me, with me, and for us.  That way, he was a part of my calling and neither of us had to go through it by ourselves.  This one act of humility – me asking Neil if we could begin praying together again – has improved our marriage in such a mighty way!  Matt. 18:19-20 “…I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am humbled that He calls me His own! I am learning to walk more boldly and confidently in who He has created me to be. My prayer is others will come to know Jesus as their Savior, identify with who they are in Him so they too can walk out the calling He’s places on their lives!
