Communion

As I was traveling to Orlando, the Kissamee sign caught my eye.  It reminded me of my first proposal…the time my high school sweetheart proposed to me.  In my spirit I heard,  first love.  He reminded me of how I reacted to my first engagement.  I was ashamed because at that time, I was still toying with thoughts of being in a relationship with two other guys.  I didn’t want to wear my engagement ring because I wasn’t “sold out” or “all in”.

I wept as I envisioned Jesus proposing to His bride…the church…and could only imagine how He felt as He is trying to woe us (His Bride) back to Himself..I knew right away this is still how we act when we hold onto our false sense of security, our idols, anything that isn’t Him.  Oh if His Bride would go back to communion and return to our First Love, amen?

First Love

While at the Jesus 19 conference, the Lord kept stirring up the phrase “First Love” in my spirit. HE also kept impressing these two songs…Communionand Take Me Back! He is wanting us to return to our First Love…to the place where our attention and focus are strictly on Him alone!

Authentic vs. Replica

img_2863When I was returning home from Englewood, I took a short break and drove to Suwannee Music Park.  While I was there, I noticed a beautiful rainbow haze on a small pool of water.  At first I thought it was beautiful.  But then I realized it was caused by oil and processed how that effected the living things below.   Simply put, that pretty haze prevents the oxygen and air from getting below.  The Lord reminded me the enemy tries to replicate everything that is good and creates a counterfeit.  Because of this reminder and warning, I need to constantly be discerning what is of Him verses what is of the enemy.  While I was in Orlando this week, I so badly wanted to go to the Holy Land Experience.  However, He reminded me of trip to Suwannee Music Park…I need to first study the authentic so I can easily identify the fake.  Even though it might be a fun experience, it’s not the real thing.  Needless to say, I didn’t go.  But what a great reminder of the importance of reading His Word so we can be able to identify what is and is not of Him or who is and is not for Him, amen?

Jesus 19

img_2812reviveFLORIDA was invited to Jesus 2019!  Talk about finishing the year and the decade strong!  We sent out over a hundred teams of 4 the first day and about 40 teams new year’s eve to share the love of Christ!

We are believing it is a shift for His bride to share out of the overflow of their time spent with Him verses out of obedience because it’s what He has instructed us to do, amen?

Hedge of Protection

As Neil and I were leaving the campsite to go purchase supplies, I got a stabbing pain in my stomach.  The Lord allows me to feel this type of pain so I will begin interceding for protection. The closer to town we got, the stronger the pain became.  I continued praying, not understanding why or what I was praying about.

As we headed back to camp, we saw numerous law enforcement vehicles lined up along the side of the road.  Neil quickly checked the news to see what he could find. There was an armed standoff that began at approximately 4:00 a.m. and it was 9:00 p.m. as we drove by.  After discovering this, I knew this was what the Lord was having me pray about. Neil (my husband) is in law enforcement and he prayed for the safety and mindset of the first responders.  I prayed for the person who had barricaded them self inside would peacefully surrender. After praying, the pain in my stomach subsided.

The following morning, we discovered not more than 10 minutes after we prayed, the crisis ended peacefully!  I am believing the Lord was just waiting for someone to intercede and release Kingdom solutions into the atmosphere to overcome the darkness.

Signs and Wonders

During a reviveTX outreach, my team ended up on a gravel road. We saw a couple looking for their lost dog.  It was amazing how the Lord used nature to speak to the lady. She disclosed she lost custody of her children while she was in active addiction. I noticed a grasshopper jump out in front of us.  I encouraged her with Joel 2:25, as I believe the Lord wanted her to know He is going to restore the years the locusts have eaten.

A gust of wind blew as we prayed for peace.  I encouraged her to breath in His peace and exhale all fear, worry, and anxiety.  I told the Lord wants to carry her burdens and a donkey began braying! It gave me the opportunity to explain donkeys are burden bearers and Matthew 11:28-30 says His yoke is easy and His burden is light!

Act NOW!

The Lord highlighted a guy in church after worship service,  I knew He wanted to give him a word. I got out my pen and paper and the Lord instructed me what to say.  I wrote: “God hears you, keep asking questions because God wants to answer your questions more than you want to hear the answers.  It’s all about relationship. The more time you spend with Him, the closer and more intimate you will be. The Lord loves you so much that He sent His Son to die on the cross for you.  Keep pressing in!”

I folded the note and tried to discern when to discreetly give it to him.  The Lord instructed “NOW.” I thought it would be disruptive but the Lord said “NOW.”  What I didn’t know was at that moment, he was seeking answers. I could tell it caught him off guard. In a few minutes, he opened it, read it, and showed it to his buddies.

After service, he came up to my husband and told him he just finished thinking he needed to ask me how I learned to worship when I handed him the note answering that very question. We learned later the young man had been struggling and denying the very existence of God.  BUT GOD saw him, knew his struggle, and made Himself known to him! Please be praying for Justin; that he surrenders to the Lord!

I was able to assist with the engage week in Janesville this spring. It was a special treat, as the person I stayed with was one of the members of my reviveSCHOOL discussion group. We enjoyed getting to know one another on a personal level as we had only met over a computer monitor.

One of my favorite memories was giving away left over pizzas from our evening meal. Three of us went to an apartment complex and encountered a group of gentlemen; only two stayed after we asked how we could pray for them. The Lord healed both of their backs to prove how faithful He is and how much they are loved by the King of Kings! After their encounter with Him, they gave their lives to Him!

I participated in Greene Co. and Seneca Co. While I was in Greene Co. one of my teams was able to share the Gospel to an entire little league baseball team. Each player including the coach raised their hand saying they wanted to make Christ the Lord of their lives! Talk about a home run! During one of the evening services in Seneca Co., I was asked to assist with reviveKIDS. I was elated because three little girls came as a result of our invitation during one of our encounters earlier that afternoon. I also got to be a part of a young man surrendering his heart to Jesus!

When I am not traveling, I assist with reviveTUPELO.  We still engage in monthly outreaches.  We have also done some scouting in Yazoo City. The most exciting news is we just got a mobile baptismal! We are anxious to use it during our next outreach!

I have had the privilege of leading a women’s discussion group every week for the past two years to share about what we’ve learned as we go deeper into His Word.  We are excited about graduation this January!

During Englewood, one of my teams and I headed down Main Street.   I shared that my knee began hurting and right in front of us was a sign that said “Got Pain?  Come Inside.”  We knew we were where we needed to be.  We walked into the store and asked if anyone had knee pain.  The three customers said no, but the gentleman behind the counter said, “doesn’t everyone?”  We prayed for his healing and he reported the intensity of the pain decreased as a result of prayer. We went through the Bible and wristband with him.  When we asked if there was anything preventing him from praying, he said “no.”  We asked if he knew what that meant, he said “yes.”  He prayed right there and the angels rejoiced over him accepting Christ as his Savior!  He then disclosed he tried to end his life a few years ago and he felt he had nothing to live for.  It was as if he was waiting on the Lord to show him his purpose.

One afternoon in Jim Ned, my team ended up on a gravel road and saw a couple looking for their lost dog.  It was amazing how the Lord used nature to speak to her.  As we helped them look for their dog, she shared a part of her testimony with me.  She explained she lost custody of her children due to her drug use.  She said she was discouraged because she had two years clean and relapsed. I noticed a grasshopper jump out in front of us. I shared I believe the Lord wanted her to know He is going to restore the years the locusts have eaten. As we got back to the car, we prayed.  A gust of wind blew as we asked for peace. I was able to encourage her to breath in His peace and exhale all fear, worry, and anxiety.  I stated the Lord wants to carry her burdens for her. Just as I spoke those words, a donkey began braying!  It was beautiful because it gave us the opportunity to explain donkeys are known burden bearers, Jesus was carried in on a donkey, and how His yoke is easy if she would release her burdens. She and her boyfriend come that evening for dinner and for Sunday service!

reviveTUPELO

img_2233This is the first Hispanic church reviveTUPELO has on board!  It was so fitting!  My team literally went walking down the street and the pastor began knocking on doors.  We prayed for a daughter who spoke English, but who’s mother spoke Spanish.  She was elated when she discovered it was the pastor of the church coming to her home.  She said she would tell her mother and possibly join them Sunday morning!

Next, we came a crossed a young man working on his car.  He ended up being the son of Lisa, whom I went to school with.  We went through the scripture with him and he said yes to Jesus!  The pastor got a phone call saying he needed to return to church.  It gave my team an opportunity to talk and for me to discern why our time on the street was cut short.  I soon realized the Lord was pursuing one of the gentleman on my team.  After prayer and conversation, he too made Jesus the Lord of his life!  What a fun way to get to finish the year strong than getting to be a part of 2 salvations!  Glory!  Glory!

On the Move!

img_2235reviveMISSISSIPPI’s new addition; a mobile baptismal!  When we encounter someone in the streets wanting to get baptized immediately, they can!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Oh Happy Day!

img_2230Neil invited me to come to “Shop with a Cop”.  It was a blessing to see joy on the children’s faces as they picked out gifts for themselves and their loved ones.  It was humbling to learn one parent requested toilet paper and another family resided in someone else’s garage.

After shopping, Chick-fil-a provided lunch and we had an opportunity to interact with the moms.  I exchanged numbers with two of them and hope they are open to connecting in the near future!
