Proverbs 14:31

img_8830My team went to meet up with a group that ministers to the homeless.  Once a week they pull a trailer filled with different items into a centralized parking lot and give out numbers to those seeking services. When they call your number, they give each person a hygiene bag, clothing, tents and sleeping bags as donations allow.  While we were there, the team was able to pray for everyone individually. Easter!

img_8331It’s not about the bunny but The Lamb!

Today, our Sunday School class celebrated the empty tomb and Jaqareus getting baptized!

It was fun as they processed not only Jesus went from death to life, but so did their classmate!  I just love the Lord’s timing!

What a beautiful picture of resurrection!

Holy Week!

99075f5e-ceee-4516-8850-1cf302b098a8-3448-00000603997144a5This week during Sunday school the Lord impressed upon my heart to go through the TTR Bible and wristband with our kids.  After reviewing each of the verses, we took turns sharing our salvation experiences.  Jaqareus admitted he never had done this, agreed there was nothing preventing him from doing so, and voiced he wanted to, amen?  So, together, we all read aloud the prayer on the back of the TTR Bible and then welcomed Jaqareus into our forever family!Continue reading “Holy Week!”

Great is Thy Faithfulness

img_8342Teletha, one of the fellow musicians I played with in the Harrisburg Band, asked if I still tooted the oboe.  She invited to me to play for their Easter program.  Quickly, I reached out to Katie, my previous oboe instructor to see if she had time to repair my horn.  She said I could bring it to her home in Memphis on Wednesday.

One the way, I got a flat tire.  I wasn’t scared because I had peace someone would stop and help me change it.  It didn’t take long for the Lord to answer to my prayer.  A kind gentleman changed it for me.  He allowed me to pray for him before he pulled away.Continue reading “Great is Thy Faithfulness”

reviveTUPELO

img_8330Today, I had the privilege of going out on a team with three of the men from Broken Lives Ministry.  The Lord impressed on my heart to pray for them before we hit the streets.  It was a beautiful as the pastor of White Hill prayed for one of them and I was able to pray for another gentleman who is married to one of the residents in Transformation Home!  I was wrecked before we even left the building!  My team ended up going to the Salvation Army and were able to pray and share the gospel with several of the individuals eating lunch there!

Anchor Church has relocated!

img_8239Wow!  So this was the first Sunday service we had in our new building.  What a beautiful experience!  I felt led to anoint all of the doors and windows with oil.  The Lord put Val and Caleb on my heart to be my prayer warriors and partners in this assignment.  My Barnabas  instructed me to:

  1. Anoint ourselves and pray for our eyes, ears, hands, feet, and hearts to be in right standing with the Lord.
  2. Proclaim and declare new life over each door and window of the building with a vertical line, horizontal line, and another vertical line.  Simply stated, in the shape of an “n”.  She explained this letter literally means “new life” in the Hebraic alphabet.
  3. Ask the Lord to redeem the land and families of the church and place a blood line around it.
  4. Ask for Him to place four angels in each corner to protect it.
  5. Lastly, ask for Him to open the heavens and pour out His Spirit, in Jesus name!

My heart is full

img_8200On the way home from Ohio, Lela and I were able to drink coffee, fellowship, and pray for/with several of these precious souls.  We saw both inner and physical healings!  To God be the glory!

I love getting to meet with new friends/family, reconnecting with old ones, and seeing the Lord move in the process!  It never gets old!

Prayer Drive

img_8199On the way to Ohio, Lela and I noticed how the road veered off to the left, but the cross was directly in front of us.  While we were driving home from the conference one evening, we saw a large fire in the distance.  It reminded me of the how the Lord guided the Israelites out of bondage using a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night (Ex. 13:21-22).  This cross and fire was a beautiful picture of God’s faithfulness and a reminder that He will never leave us nor forsake us!

As you go…

img_8198We not only got to worship and listen to amazing speakers, words just don’t do it justice for the encounters, impartation, revelation, and miracles we got to experience and witness…God is ALIVE!  On of my take aways…you don’t need more of His power to go…rather…He will give you His power as you go!  Amen?  Until the whole world hears!
