During the first outreach, my team went to a domestic violence shelter. Shelter staff advised us to be careful, as one of the residents saw three snakes by the gazebo earlier that morning. We took this as a sign and began asserting the authority the Lord gave us and stomped on the serpents head! (Not literally, but spiritually).
The ladies at the bottom right corner of this picture are my freedom sisters! They prayed with me for about 4 hours, and helped me get free of several things that held me in bondage! As a result of this new found freedom, the joy of the Lord overflowed and He used it to continue healing my heart, amen?
Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He was put together each of these groups. I learned something significant each time so I could become more equip for the next battle! He is so good and faithful! As I reflect on these pictures and the entire week, Psalms 91 sums up my experience.
How awesome is our God!?! What an honor to run with this team and to go into battle with them!
I had a dream that a worship leader was almost blown away and a grandmother was chasing after her teenage granddaughter.
Almost half of the team had the privilege of staying at Camp Barkeley. As soon as we began driving on the property, we could feel the Lord’s presence. It was such a blessing to have a safe haven to come back to after being in battle all day.
I am thankful I got to come here in person with this amazing group of anointed prayer warriors and the Lord humored me by allowing me to see angels in the physical realm!
What an honor it was to get to meet Jennifer Jones today! She is one of Abilene’s prophetic artists. She is just as beautiful on the inside as her artwork is.
What a fun day! We went up to one of the highest points in the city and made proclamations and decrees over the land. I released the scriptures from the new wine article, Barbara blew her shofar and Michelle and Lela prayed. We also asked for the Lord to release His angel armies. I think it’s significant the Lord directed us to do this on 9/11! While we were heading down the mountain, I found a donkey’s jaw bone. I love the Lord’s humor as it was a reminder that Samson killed a thousand of his enemies with this exact same weapon!
The first opportunity to hit the streets I was able to go on a team with Scott, Martha, and Amy. We went to Noah’s Project which is a shelter for anyone escaping abuse. Right away, one of the workers said yes to Jesus! I loved how the Lord allowed me to return to the work environment that He used me at in Tupelo for 9 years to be able to experience as a team member with the ministry I am now serving Him in!
What an amazing way to kick off the week of reviveTX :: Abilene! When we first arrived at the stadium, I noticed how there were about 5 different groups all wearing shirts to support their church/ministry. I was wondering if the Lord was revealing to me how we needed to enmesh, but then realized He was reminding me how we need all parts of the body to function and be THE BODY. Since, He has been teaching me to walk out in my uniqueness and not compare other peoples gift to my own, amen?
