Luke 10:19

img_5214During the first outreach, my team went to a domestic violence shelter.  Shelter staff advised us to be careful, as one of the residents saw three snakes by the gazebo earlier that morning.  We took this as a sign and began asserting the authority the Lord gave us and stomped on the serpents head!  (Not literally, but spiritually).

The ladies at the bottom right corner of this picture are my freedom sisters!  They prayed with me for about 4 hours, and helped me get free of several things that held me in bondage!  As a result of this new found freedom, the joy of the Lord overflowed and He used it to continue healing my heart, amen?

Prayer Warriors

img_5207Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”  The Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He was put together each of these groups.  I learned something significant each time so I could become more equip for the next battle!  He is so good and faithful!    As I reflect on these pictures and the entire week, Psalms 91 sums up my experience.

Young Worshippers

images.jpegI had a dream that a worship leader was almost blown away and a grandmother was chasing after her teenage granddaughter.

It didn’t take too long to interpret the dream.  I was only out in the community a few times due to staying at the church to intercede for outreaches or for inner healing ministry.  However, the two encounters I had were with young dancers/future worshippers.

While we were at Jacob’s Ladder on the campus of Abilene Christian University, we asked a student to take our picture.  As it turned out, she was a dancer who just injured her leg a few days ago.  We prayed over her and she was healed.

A few nights later, we ate dinner at a fast food restaurant.  We noticed a high school student limping.  When we approached her, she stated she was on the dance team and had hurt her hip.  We prayed for her.  She was amazed because the Lord healed her instantly!  We went through the scriptures and she asked Jesus into her heart without any hesitation.  Let’s continue interceding on behalf of our young worshippers!  We know the enemy fears them because he knows how dangerous they are!  Just think about 2 Chronicles 20!

Clean Camp

img_5212Almost half of the team had the privilege of staying at Camp Barkeley. As soon as we began driving on the property, we could feel the Lord’s presence. It was such a blessing to have a safe haven to come back to after being in battle all day.

I usually came back to the camp before the rest of my roommates and it was dark on the backside of our cabin where the door was. I thought I had a clever idea to leave the light on all day so I would be able to see to get in the door. However, when we got there that night, the light had attracted lots of bugs. When we opened the door, we had to spend a lot of time killing the bugs that got into our sleeping quarters.

I knew the Lord was trying to get my attention. As we were destroying those pesky invaders, the Lord revealed the longer we as a ministry shine His light, the more we are going to be targeted by the enemy. I heard the Lord say “keep your camp clean.”Continue reading “Clean Camp”

Romans 1:11

img_5213What an honor it was to get to meet Jennifer Jones today!  She is one of Abilene’s prophetic artists.  She is just as beautiful on the inside as her artwork is.

I requested for her to pray for me and to impart her gifts.  I can’t wait to pick up a brush and see what was activated!

9/11

img_5210What a fun day!  We went up to one of the highest points in the city and made proclamations and decrees over the land.  I released the scriptures from the new wine article, Barbara blew her shofar and Michelle and Lela prayed.  We also asked for the Lord to release His angel armies.  I think it’s significant the Lord directed us to do this on 9/11!  While we were heading down the mountain, I found a donkey’s jaw bone.  I love the Lord’s humor as it was a reminder that Samson killed a thousand of his enemies with this exact same weapon!

Passing the Mantle

img_5755The first opportunity to hit the streets I was able to go on a team with Scott, Martha, and Amy.  We went to Noah’s Project which is a shelter for anyone escaping abuse.  Right away, one of the workers said yes to Jesus!  I loved how the Lord allowed me to return to the work environment that He used me at in Tupelo for 9 years to be able to experience as a team member with the ministry I am now serving Him in!Continue reading “Passing the Mantle”

Fill the Well

img_5752What an amazing way to kick off the week of reviveTX  ::  Abilene!  When we first arrived at the stadium, I noticed how there were about 5 different groups all wearing shirts to support their church/ministry.  I was wondering if the Lord was revealing to me how we needed to enmesh,  but then realized He was reminding me how we need all parts of the body to function and be THE BODY.  Since, He has been teaching me to walk out in my uniqueness and not compare other peoples gift to my own, amen?

While we were there, we also repented on behalf of the nation in making abortion legal, as this was the location of Roe vs. Wade.  I hear the chains falling!
