Obedience

As I shared in a previous post, Lela’s son had a key to a lock that switches rail road tracks and I thought it would be fun to take a picture of the key that switches tracks.  For those wondering why, switching tracks was the theme of reviveTUPELO.  Long story short, we never were able to get the key, so the task was incomplete in my mind.

Neil and I were in Iuka camping and he suggested we go antiquing to see if we could find a Rice container for my mother.  On our adventure, I saw several cases of railroad keys, locks, and nails.  I got the bright idea that all my TTR sisters needed one.  I began searching online and found a store that sold them.  I only ordered four, but the owner threw an extra one that I was able to keep for myself!  Oh how His blessings have been pouring down on me!

I am not good at keeping a secret…but I managed to wait to give them out before our paint party.  That morning, Lela pulled up and realized she had forgotten her keys to unlock the church.  She explained if she had obeyed her husband’s suggestion of driving another vehicle, the church key would have been on the keyring.  She made the statement “obedience is key!”  I knew that was my sign to pass out their keys!  Later that afternoon, we finally got our picture of the TTR crew switching tracks!  I can’t wait to see what he has in store for MS and revive as a whole!  The Lord is definitely moving!!!

Release your creativity!

Three paint parties, all uniquely different!  What fun it was to fellowship with like minded sisters and get our creativity on at the same time!

The first party my Wednesday night Bible Study asked their friends to come out…what a beautiful time of painting and praising we had!  It was fun to see how we all were given the same instruction, but everyone’s was totally different.Continue reading “Release your creativity!”

MOO!

I found it fitting TTR posted four new team members were fully funded on FB Thursday, me being one of them, using cows…and then this morning He would speak to me through cows!  img_4437

While driving home from the camp I saw a herd of cows walking in a straight line.  There was one cow leading the entire herd.  Even the smallest calf fell into place as it didn’t want to be left behind.  I knew the Lord was showing me how we are not to chase after people, we are just to walk boldly and the Holy Spirit will do the rest to assure the stirring of people’s hearts and souls so they too won’t want to be left behind.  They will want to join us (the saints) and have eternal life, go to heaven, and worship Him for all eternity!

Angel Armies

img_4383A few weeks ago Lesia and I were helping a friend move some of her daughter and granddaughter’s belonging.  We happened a crossed two sets of wings.  I encouraged Lesia to put them on and joke that we’ve earned our wings.  Little did I know it was prophetic!

You see…this morning, I read an e-mail while I was talking to my mother and the e-mail stated I had an anonymous donor make a contribution that put me at 97% of my goal to become a full time team member with TTR.  I literally fell to my knees!  Continue reading “Angel Armies”

reviveMS

What a fun day we had going out to share God’s love on the streets of Tupelo.  My team ended up on Green St.   The guys prayed for a few people out and about and offered them encouragement.  Since it was raining, we thought we would try going to laundry mats, but other teams had the same idea.  Artis and Zeke did go into one with a reviveTUPELO sign displayed in the window and shared the gospel with someone inside.  Judy and myself stayed in the car to pray.  While we were waiting, I noticed multiple people going in and out of the liquor store next door.  I felt led to pray for the cashier.  He was Muslim but allowed me to pray for his health and Judy shared the Gospel with him.Continue reading “reviveMS”

Pine Grove!

What an amazing morning the Lord had planned!  On our way to Pine Grove School, we drove up to 2 donkeys that were standing on the side of the road.  I asked the driver to pull over so I could get out and get a picture.  Needless to say, I started the donkeys and they began braying.  Immediately Pam said it was a shofar sounding.  I did some research and found shofars are sounded as a symbol of repentance and as an alarm to awaken the soul.  One long shofar blast be used to announce Jesus’s return and they have used as an instrument of spiritual warfare (Num. 10:9).

Flash of Light

img_4346As I was driving home this morning, I kept seeing flashes of light.  I looked up the definition of flash and found an example to say “to cause to flash by a sword by waving.”  All I could think about was our angel armies fighting and I was seeing flashes from their swords…I also reflected on my ability to cause flashes as I was fighting off the enemy with the sword of Truth!

Then,  I focused on the word “light.”   We are to let our lights shine before others so they may see our good words and glorify God (Matthew 5:16) came to mind.  What that means to me is because of what He’s done in and through me, other’s will be drawn to Him!  I had to ask myself: “What kind of a testimony am I living?  What in my life still needs refined?”Continue reading “Flash of Light”

Mistletoe – Another Level

img_4328In the pictures, I have circled two groupings of mistletoe.  From the left picture, the Lord spoke to me “even though you may not see Me, I am always with you” (Hebrews 13:5)…and I was also reminded that I must keep His Word hidden in my heart (Ps. 119:11).

On the right side is an example of His love always being within reach and nothing can separate us from His love (Rom 8:38-39).  I love how He loves us!

Layers

img_4388As I was I running errands this afternoon, I looked up and saw multiple lines of clouds in the sky.  The Holy Spirit revealed that I the Lord has been allowing me to go deeper and deeper with Him.  He has been showing me more and more of who He is…and the more He reveals, the more I want to know!  I realized that each thing has been building on each other, much like these clouds.  Each layer bridges the gap from earth to heaven and from my heart to His!  Oh, how beautiful is His love for us!

D’ Flowers!

img_4334Yesterday morning the Lord kept bringing dandelions to my attention.  The yellow ones reminded me that I am supposed to be a shining light in the darkness.  The dandelions that have turned to into a white ball reminded me that as the wind blows I am to spread His seeds of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  As I spread these seeds, they will take root and will turn into yellow flowers that will shine their light. Then, after they mature, they too will spread their seeds and multiply!

This morning I kept noticing daffodils.  I looked up the symbolic meaning of them and found they represent rebirth and new beginnings. To me this is an example that the Lord will bring beauty from ashes.  I also envisioned the center of the flower as a cup…and when the cup is filled with God’s love, it will overflow onto others!  Who knew the Lord could use these beautiful yellow flowers to teach me of His love!?!
