Anchor’s Away!

img_0753I just love my church!  Today, I got to watch Jamie baptize Case and then we had prayer for the students and educators in the Verona School System this evening.

After, I got to pray with one of the ladies in the Transformation Home and the Lord showed out by displaying a double rainbow when we were finished!

Holding fast and standing on His promises!

It was fun too getting to listen to what the Lord revealed to Kyle about COAL.

On the way home, the Lord also blessed me by displaying a portal and geese as a reminder He goes before us and I am right where He wants me!

img_0751I had the privilege of going out with two locals today.  As we prayed for direction, the Lord gave me a vision of a left foot.  Neither one of them had any idea of a place this might pertain to, so we just began driving.  We noticed a female on a bike with a bright colored shirt and the word love on it.  We got out of the vehicle and I was able to pray for her.  I gave her a hug and remind her she is loved by the King, and she is never alone.

We ended up walking down the road and stopping in front of a group of 5 people sitting in front of an abandoned house.  The pastor in our group prayed with one of the gentlemen and arranged to meet with him on a weekly basis for discipleship.Continue reading “reviveYAZOO”

img_0750What a fun weekend with the two men in my life!

First, we went to Cade’s Cove to eat supper.  While we were there, we got to pet and feed two bucks.

Then, we headed to Florence, AL to the dam to catch tomorrow night’s meal.

Prayer Changes Everything!

As Neil and I prayed together before the first morning of the academy, I wept.  I knew the Lord’s heart was grieving over one, if not several of the cadets.  Throughout the course of the last week, Neil stated one of the kids professed himself as an atheist.  He has already expressed an interest in attending next year.  Please join with us in praying the Lord continues drawing this child to Himself and there will be an opportunity to share the Gospel with him soon!Continue reading “Prayer Changes Everything!”

WORD

A few weeks ago Laura Martin asked for each of the TTR team to give Kyle a word of encouragement for his 40th birthday.  As I prayed, I heard the Lord say “coal.”  I didn’t like that word so I decided I would come back to it and pray about it later.  A few days passed and I began praying again for the Lord to give me a word for Kyle.  I could just envision the Lord shaking His head at me as He prompted me by saying, “why are you asking Me for another word after I already gave you one…coal?”

UGH!  I began a dialogue with Him…Why me Lord…why not a pretty word..why does it have to be something nobody wants in their stocking…Kyle already thinks I am strange…and He replied…My thoughts are higher than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8) and I am the giver of good gifts (James 1:17).  So reluctantly, I surrendered and trusted.

I felt led to ponder about where coal was found…you have to dig for it…it’s not surface level.  It’s hidden, just as we have hidden His Word in our hearts. I believe He was revealing Kyle’s faith isn’t surface level, it’s deep.  He brought Romans 10:17 to mind.  As I continued “digging” through facts, I discovered coal makes up 40% (40th birthday) of the world’s power and energy…and the Lord uses pressure to create coal from dead plants….just as He can use what He’s pruned off of us for His glory…pretty cool stuff!

After reviewing what I had written down from my research, I believe I got a portion of what the Lord was wanting me to release to Kyle…As Kyle has been digging into God’s Word, He is taking him deeper into Himself and He is giving Kyle new power, energy and revelation as he moves into this new season of his life, amen?

Well…yesterday, I found out Kyle was asked to preach at his home church and the topic is “A Tale of Two Fires.”  Included in the message he will be talking about coal, how cool is that?  I stand in awe of our Savior!  I thank You Lord for Your confirmation that I am hearing correctly and for blessing me (even though it wasn’t necessary) for my obedience!

Romans 12:10

img_0256The Lord has really been doing a work in our marriage since Neil and I have been intentionally praying together every morning.  Sunday night, he found a new 31 day challenge for us to try.  I thought it was neat as the Lord has been speaking to me about angles and triangles for a about a year now and it’s the symbolism on the rings designed for the 31 day commitment!

We have haven’t been doing it for an entire week yet, but I have already noticed a big difference in both of us!  I am soo thankful for the refreshing and renewal of the vows we took to one another and to the Lord that has already happened and I wait with anticipation what He has for us as we continue pursuing each other as Christ pursued us!

img_0242This morning my team felt led to go to Steak and Shake.  There were numerous servers standing around because it had not gotten busy yet.  I noticed one of their names was Jonah.  I found it curious that last month brought to mind Jonah, as Aaron was about his age and I got to spend the morning with him.  I asked the team to lift my Jonah up in prayer.

As we were leaving, two women asked me to come to their booth.  They requested prayer for one of the ladies in their Sunday School class who was unable to return home and refusing to go to the nursing home.  I prayed peace that surpassed all understanding and for her to view this as an opportunity to be the light in that environment instead of seeing it as a hinderance. Continue reading “reviveTUPELO”

Fun, Fellowship

img_0241This weekend was FILLED with fun, food, and fellowship!  Neil invited several people over to pour into from CR and I got an opportunity to spend some time with the kiddos!  Neil was recharged while I got my snuggle fix!
