Everytime I tried to be a blessing, the Lord out blessed me through these amazing folks! What a joy and honor to get to serve along side them!
Let HIS light shine!
The pastor that I went out with earlier in the week asked me to come and pray with someone in his congregation who had back aches. We prayed, but she said she wouldn’t know if there was a change until later. I testified how I had seen many people healed of their pain immediately, but she repeatedly said it was something she is going to have to live with the rest of her life. It saddens my heart that she and many Christians don’t think the Lord is able to heal or they are unworthy to be healed. However, I was so encouraged the pastor got it, as he believes! Praise the Lord!
This afternoon, I went to the YMCA with Erika and Aimee. We were able to pray and encourage most of the staff. I ended up sitting with a special needs man about 35 years of age. He brought me hope. He shared how he lives independently, works two different jobs, and attends church every time the doors are open! He constantly had a smile on his face and his joy was contagious! What a blessing he is and what a testimony of how true the statement I heard just earlier this week is…it’s not a DISability, but rather a DIFFERENT ability, amen?
Psalm 18:2
During prayer this morning, the Lord gave me a vision of a crown of thorns with drops of blood dripping from it. Then, I heard, “you must die to self daily so I may be glorified,” amen?
I had spent this morning alone, so when I found the noontime church’s parking lot full, I felt released to continue more time alone with Him. I went back to the quarry I had passed on the way to the church to explore. As I walked the trail, I saw a pair of geese and then stumbled upon a heart painted on a massive rock overlooking two ponds. I knew the Lord was affirming me I was right where He wanted me to be, He loves me, and He is my fortress. Continue reading “Psalm 18:2”
Romans 12:2
The devotion this morning centered around refreshment. Everyone was given a mint and encouraged to eat it. I did not because the Lord has not allowed me to eat refined sugar since July of last year.
At the end, we were asked how we ate the mint…if we savored it all the way until the end, if we savored it for a while and then crunched it, or if we chewed it right away so we could move onto the next thing. It was then equated if that is how we spend time with the Lord. If we savor it or if we look at it as something to check off our list.
At first, I was crushed as I didn’t even eat one, I gave mine away. I was scared I had missed out on the opportunity all together. But the Lord quickly corrected me. He reminded He did not call me to do as everyone else, even those on my team. He called me to stand out and be obedient to only Him, amen?
Home Run!
Today, my team ended up at a mental health facility a crossed the street from an apartment complex. There was a lot of foot traffic so we were able to pray for several people. On a few of the encounters I was paired with one of the pastors who hosted revive Greene County. His theology didn’t align with mine, so I was unsure how he would feel about healing. However, he was able to witness a girl’s neck and back pain go from 8 to zero, amen? The other half of our team ran into her after we did and she said she had no pain, but continued using the cane to help with her balance! I love how the Lord shows His love to His children! We also ran into a homeless man named James that really touched my heart. We were able to speak life into him about how the Lord is pursuing him and he is loved by the King of Kings. We ended up getting an opportunity to pray, go through the Bible and bands with an entire middle school baseball team. Each player including the coach raised their hand saying they wanted to make Christ the Lord of their lives, GLORY!!!
The Joy of the Lord!
This evening we had an opportunity to take supper to a transitional housing complex. As we were talking to a single mom, I felt the Lord wanted me to pray and impart joy to her. He also gave me a vision of a dandelion. Because of my curiosity, I asked her if dandelions had any meaning to her. She stated she was told as a child that if you rubbed a dandelion to your cheek and it turned yellow, then you were allergic to butter. The Lord has a funny sense of humor and knew I would try it out because I am not allergic to butter. Well, needless to say, my cheek turned yellow and so did my hand from where I had tried to get it off. I am sure my eyes got big but this precious momma laughed so hard she cried! More Lord, more!
JerUSAlem
What a fun afternoon! My team ended up going to a park and prophesied over one another. Eugene shared he believed Ryan was very intentional and strategic, but the Lord was going to have him do something outside of the box. Ryan said he had prayed the Lord would give him confirmation this week about moving to Israel. He explained he has already been slowly selling his belongings, but wanted to know for sure being that it was such a drastic change. He said he felt led to find a two week tour so he could get a feel for the land and then find a job in excavation as they would provide room and board. Please join me in praying for Ryan, as the Lord is going to use him in ushering in His return!
Court’s in Session
This morning I was able to go to the court house with Jim and Eugene. The first person I prayed for was Heather. Her boyfriend was going before the judge for domestic violence charges and she stated he had been sober for the 20 days he was in jail. She admitted she needed to seek help to quit drinking too. We talked about what changes they would need to make and what services they could utilize for accountability and support.
While I was talking to her, Jim and Eugene tried talking to two guys sitting in the corner with no avail. However, towards the end of our time in the lobby, Eugene began talking to Chris. Chris had only been sober for 55 days and he very openly shared his testimony. He stated how he had been running from the Lord his entire life, how someone had prophesied he would be a preacher, and how he was so thankful he didn’t have to live his old lifestyle any longer. I loved to hear what the Lord had done for him, but also to watch the Lord activate Chris’s prophetic word of becoming a preacher right before our very eyes. As Chris was sharing, I noticed the two guys in the corner perk their ears up and sit on the edges of their seat by the time he shared how he came to accept Jesus as his Lord. How fun it was to see the Lord use my team members to plant seeds and then for an unsuspecting individual to water the seeds without even knowing it!
Matthew 28:19-20
This morning I went to AHOP for worship and then several of us went to pray for missionaries at a nearby ranch who were going to Guyana the following morning. We were able to go through the wristbands and Bibles with them and also pray for their trip. As we were mingling, I spoke to a native of Guyana who helped the missionaries get connected to who they needed to once they arrived. During our conversation, she shared how they don’t label anyone as having disabilities in her country. Instead, they say people having different abilities, amen?!?
On a personal note, I was elated as there where 5 peacocks in the barn behind the meeting room. The Lord gave me a vision of peacock feathers the beginning of the year so it was affirmation I was right where I needed to be.

Aimee and I were able to reconnect with each other as we drove around to get a feeling of the city as we prayed over it this afternoon.
