Holy Swiss!

img_8940This morning I got to help Kevin out with logistics.  He even let me ride the big truck!  Oh it’s the little things that bring me such joy!

My afternoon’s  team name was Holy Swiss.  After prayer, we decided to head in the direction of Dairy Queen and look for possible encounters along the way.  We thought we were clever because our team name and Daily Queen resembled one another…Holy is to Queen as Swiss is to Dairy!  LOL!Continue reading “Holy Swiss!”

Sweetly Broken

Revelation 2:2-5  “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.  Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.”
img_8190The Lord also gave me a vision of a heart with angel wings surrounding it…I believe He was reminding me to protect my priories and keep Him above all things! This verse led us to discussing if we ever come to the point of burnout, we are doing something wrong.  We aren’t focusing on our first love.  If we become weary, our we are looking to self for strength instead of relying on His power.  My prayer is we continue sitting at His feet and resting in His peace.

Mending

This morning during prayer, Mindi explained the picture she painted last night.  The needle and red thread represented mending and the thimble represented protection. When I took a moment and studied the spool, I got a vision of the red cross.  What a neat example of what we do in this ministry. We go out and reach people right were they are; often in the midst of a life emergency! I loved that the thimble was silver; a perfect illustration of God’s armor.  I took it to heart because it has been spoken over me that I would be invisible to the enemy because he would only see a reflection of himself in the armor.  How neat is that?Continue reading “Mending”

New Lenses

img_8570

As we were headed to the noon time church, we noticed umbrellas covering one of the streets. It was a beautiful sight. It was as though He was telling us to prepare for His healing rain!

Then, I noticed the optical store next to the church. During one of our prayer gatherings, we discussed the eyes of the Lord.  I believe He was revealing He is giving us new lenses so we can see from HIS perspective.  Thank you Jesus! It was and will continue to be my prayer that the Lord gives us HIS eyes, HIS ears, and a humble heart to understand the mystery of HIS will! Continue reading “New Lenses”

Touch

68d31baf-571e-426d-ad22-07b00e00a1bb-1364-0000019310bb552fKyle has been preaching on the 5 senses; tonight he talked about touch.  He discussed the scripture Matthew 10:8  “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. “After hearing this verse, I felt an instant peace. I believe the Lord is confirming my calling to intercessory prayer and inner healing/deliverance.

Say Cheese Curds!

This afternoon I shared with my group how all the locals have told me it was necessity for all visitors to try cheese curds.  Being that my every member of my team was from out of state, we thought we should check it out.  We ended up a Bletsoe’s and prayed for Lynn.  She shared she was turning 65 tomorrow and had worked on a dairy farm her entire life.  We prayed for provision and her health as she requested.Continue reading “Say Cheese Curds!”

I scream, You scream, We all scream for Ice Cream!

img_8567What a fun team I went out with this morning!  We decided to start at the church that was located on our map.  It happened to be next to our host church.  We prayed, went through the wrist band and Bible, then asked the Lord for direction.  Selah had discussed she had the gift of healing and another one of the youth mentioned she saw an image of a red shirt.  No more did she say this, than a red pick up truck pulled up to the truck and the driver got out wearing a cast and a red shirt. Immediately we knew we were right where we were supposed to be.  We talked with him for about an hour and Selah prayed for his healing.  We discussed dairy farms, and I stated I wanted some good ice cream and an opportunity to feed a cow.  He commented they do give calfs a bottle until they are comfortable eating from buckets.  Since we didn’t know a place I could hand feed a calf, we decided to get ice cream.  Continue reading “I scream, You scream, We all scream for Ice Cream!”

Heaven Come Down!

img_8565On the trip here, Lela commented there was supposed to be a meteor shower.  Our eyes locked when we saw stars on the wall by the cross at the front of the church.  As service continued, one of the members got up and shared a testimony about a young man who accepted Christ this week.  When she finished talking, she placed a star on the wall with the others.  We discovered the stars representing souls the church members led to Christ.  Come on!  We are believing and praying for a meteor shower of souls to be saved this week! Thank you for letting us be a part of Your work and Your plan!  We love you Lord with all that we are!

And We’re Off!

c0e113e8-aac5-412e-936a-59abd1a52538-1361-0000027123d64353-1Lela and I pulled stayed at a hotel on our way to reviveWISCONSIN. While eating breakfast, we started up a conversation with a sweet couple from Alabama.  We prayed over the wife’s back, as she having surgery soon in hopes to decrease the pain.  Once we finished eating, we walked outside and noticed an employee sitting on a bench taking a quick break.  After striking up a short conversation, she disclosed she was a survivor of domestic violence.  We prayed for her and instructed her how she could receive freedom by forgiving herself. What a fun way to begin our journey!  The Lord presented us with an opportunity to pray for someone’s physical and for someone’s spiritual healing!  Thank you Lord!

Mt. Olive

img_8935Lela and I were talking about provision and passed Mt. Olive on our journey to reviveWI. We felt like the Lord was trying to get our attention and remind us He is the refuge.

We came to a fork in the road. The wide street led people astray. It is a slow fade, but anyone who continued on it would miss the mark. The other was a narrow path of obedience. This path would lead us into His rest and provision.

Next, we saw a cemetery. We heard “dry bones come alive.” We began praying for unity of the church/Nation. There is an urgency to caution His children. He is coming quickly. The world would say it’s an emergency and become fearful, but looking through God’s eyes, He is revealing its urgency. He wants us to sound the alarm and tell His people not to get side tracked with the American dream.

God is never changing, Lela’s clock stopped for two hours. We didn’t realize we lost time until we were finished with our adventure. This represents our society today. If we are not alert and focus on God and what He’s doing, the enemy will bring disaster.
