CR Reunion!

What a special time we had today!  Mary Frances and I were invited to a CR Reunion. The ministry has been up and running for approximately 9 years, so there were newcomers and old timers.  It was fun to fellowship with my forever family!  While we were there, we met Patricia.  She had two hip replacements, but still had been living with severe pain.  After we prayed for her, she was able to get up out of her chair pain free!  Glory to God!

Be Still!

img_5505Thursday evening we had a girl’s night at Cheryl’s.  We shared stories of how we got connected and involved with TTR while sitting a round the fire.  It was neat to hear how the Lord wooed each of us!

Friday morning, I was able to hand feed several of their cows and then we all took a walk around their farm.  It was a sweet time of fellowship and refreshing!  Jeremiah 31:25 “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”

Praise!

img_5520-1This morning I asked Emily if she wanted to try to go and pray with law enforcement again, because we never made it last week.  She agreed.  As we were introducing ourselves, we learned Jerry had just gotten a new job as a security officer at one of the local court houses.  It was neat because his picture was on our host church’s bulletin board and I shared with Mary Frances how I hoped to be able to meet him and pray for his safety.  Well, I was able to do just that!

Our first stop was at a gas station.  Lydia and I prayed for Jennifer’s right knee to be healed.  Jennifer said it already felt a lot better and she wasn’t surprised because she knew how great God is!

Our team map contained a local business so we went there.  It ended up being someone’s home.  We knocked on numerous doors, but nobody answered.  As we were leaving the neighborhood, we saw Gene walking.  Lydia and I discovered she was 94 years old and a believer.  We prayed with her and she commented we made her day!

When we got to our church for lunch, Bob G.’s leg was healed and another person’s back was healed!  I had shared with someone I missed my dogs, so she brought her german shepherd up to the church to let me pet him!  Wow, I love how the Lord showers me with his blessings and gives us the desires of our heart!

Angels

img_5858While we were praying this morning, Mary Frances was in a group of four.  She said she heard a fifth voice in her group and immediately knew it was an angel!  Then tonight during service, Lela took several pictures from the live stream of an angel in our sanctuary!

Ex. 23:20 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”

Hebrews 1:14 “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Psalm 91:11-12 “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.  On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.”

All Aboard!

img_5513This morning, Mary Frances and I went to a church and ended up praying with and for the entire staff!  It was fun to see them get excited as we shared testimonies.  They began thinking about who they could contact to help us get into schools and businesses!  Go God!

From there, we went and met Laban at Bev’s. When we arrived, Laban said he was out of his comfort zone.  He stated he had just been sitting in the booth with his coffee cup in hand shaking like a leaf.  Once we prayed over him, he transformed right before our very eyes.  He immediately jumped out up and prayed with a gentleman sitting in the booth next to us.  He ended up getting the gentleman’s number so he could begin the discipleship process with him!  How awesome is that?  While we were there, Bev gave us the contact information of the leader of FCS to help us get into the schools in Ponder! The Lord is moving in mighty ways!

That afternoon, we went to Zera’s coffeehouse, it was a neat environment.  While we were talking, the train whistle began to blow.  KJ said it was a glory train.  She explained when ever the whistle sounds, something significant happens in the spiritual realm! Chew Chew!

Detour

img_5351Tonight, my team had a special assignment to go to Zera’s coffee shop.  We never made it.  Instead, we ended up at a 7Feathers non-profit meeting.  The group consists of locals trying to get music and art festivals into the community.  They were leasing a room adjacent to a bar.   The members were coming outside to smoke, drink, and talk.

I was able to pray for a guy who just found out he was going to be a father.  He stated he just started going to a cowboy church and he is trying to get his baby’s mother to come too.  I also prayed with Kyle for Cassidy.  She is a survivor of child sexual abuse and is going to a weekend retreat in hopes of healing from this trauma.  She was open to sharing about her experience when she returns, but she put up a wall when we asked if she wanted to go through the scriptures.  Please be praying that she encounters Jesus and He radically transforms her from the inside out!Continue reading “Detour”
